SoT, Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) Scholarships and Funding
University offers various scholarships for B.Tech. programs:
Merit Scholarship: Full Tuition Fee Waiver (w. e. f. First Semester)
All the students who will take admissions in given band of JEE and ACPC rank for various program will get full tuition fee waiver:
- Candidates from Chemical Engineering/ Civil Engineering who have secured JEE Main Rank 1 - 75000 and ACPC rank 1 - 3500 are eligible for the Merit scholarship.
- Candidates from Computer Engineering who have secured JEE Main Rank 1 - 20000 and ACPC rank 1 - 200 are eligible for the Merit scholarship.
- Candidates from Electrical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Petroleum Engineering who have secured JEE Main Rank 1 - 75000 and ACPC rank 1 - 3500 are eligible for the Merit scholarship.
- Candidates from Electronic & Communication Engineering/ Information & Communication Technology Engineering who have secured JEE Main Rank 1 - 40000 and ACPC rank 1 - 300 are eligible for the Merit scholarship.
Special Merit Scholarship:
i) 25% tuition fee waiver for all students getting admitted as per the intake in B.Tech. 2023-2027 batch of Civil/Electrical/Petroleum Engineering.
ii) Admission either through All India Seats or ACPC Seats.
iii) The scholarship will continue up to the final semester for the students passing fully with minimum 6.5 CPI in Semester - 1 and onwards.
(This provision is not applicable to admission on NRI seats/TFW seats).
Special Scholarship for Defence / CAPF Persons in B.Tech. Program:
100% tuition fee waiver to wards of Gallantry Award winner or those who made supreme sacrifice for the nation i.e. fatal battle casualty. Candidate has to present proof of award from respective organization.
50% tuition fee waiver to the ward of war injured / war disabled soldier of defence force and CAPF. Candidate has to present war disability certificate from respective organization.
50% tuition fee waiver to the wards soldiers whose annual income less than 8.0 lakhs. Candidate has to present income certificate.
