Sometimes I'm very dissatisfied with the faculty members; they don't want to take any responsibility

Placements: We have 180 students in our 1st semester batch. They divided us into 2 sections, Section A and Section B. Our college gives us the opportunity to participate in debates and moot court. Sometimes later, we get the chance to go to the Alipur Court, which is the nearest court to our college.

Need better administration.

Placements: We have to fetch for our own internships. Feels compared to other government colleges is too high. But great teachers and office staff. Since it is a branch of the Calcutta University, degree is still valuable. More than half of the students do not attend class on a regular basis.

It's a good college to study.

Placements: Placement drives were not conducted in our college. Every student has to do internships for at least three months, and they need to arrange it on their own. Usually, students practice in private chambers or try to get a job in any law firm after graduating. Law firms offer at least Rs. 5,000 per month in the beginning.

Its a decent college for the students who want to practice law.

Placements: There are no placements in the college. While joining the University of Calcutta, we didn't expect any placements. The situation in the college regarding the placements is still the same. If you want to join the law course, then it is okay. They will provide you with a B.A. LL.B. degree, and you would be able to practice. But, if you want to join under a corporate degree in the CU, it is not advisable.
