It is a green institute, and I love the greenery around.
Placements: Placements are not very effective in our college. The starting highest salary package offered here is 4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies here are AMPM, etc. About 70% of students got good internships. Top roles offered here are assistant designer and merchandiser.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are not very modern here. The canteen is not very good. The library and the faculty members are awesome. The hostel has very strict wardens. As it is only a girls' institution, there is less leniency. However, the medical facilities are great, and exhibitions and shows are great.
Faculty: The teachers here are extremely polite and helpful. They are very caring and loving. They are experienced with about 25 years. The curriculum needs to be more modernised and should also include graphic designing as a subject. It is not very difficult to pass the exams. The pass percentage is 33%.

I am satisfied with teaching quality.
Placements: Placements are complicated because every college gives hope that they would provide placements, but not all colleges offer placements. In the end, students have to search for placement on their own. Export House is the only company I heard, where most of the seniors got placed, and some of them are working in other companies.
Infrastructure: Facilities like Wi-Fi, digital classrooms and air-conditioners are not available here. Only fans and tube lights are available in classrooms. However, there is a huge library. Canteen is just like three mini shops. Medical facilities are average, and we don't have a particular medical room. Food served in the mess is good.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive and understanding, and they help you whenever you ask. They tell us everything about the fashion industry and its related things. Teaching quality is the best thing about this polytechnic college, and faculty members give equal time to every student.
Other: Greenery inside the college is amazing.

Fine Art Program - Batch of 2020

The course curriculum and faculty are good though it lacks in extracurricular activities.
Placements: Approximately 15 students got placed in each batch, and there is no particular range of salary package offered in our field, as we were offered with the salary according to the job. In our field, we could be a teacher, professor, professional artist, graphic designer, etc. No companies visit the campus for placements for fine arts, but students join school and colleges as a teacher or professor.
Infrastructure: In our college, we are provided with labs, classrooms and a library but not a Wi-Fi facility. The infrastructure is also satisfactory, and the quality of the food available is good. Sports and games are not available inside the campus due to lack of space.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, and even they teach us from us very basic. The course curriculum changes every year as our teachers try to add something every year in order to make the course interesting and worth doing. They are practising artist due to which they help all the students.
Other: I chose this course because I like to draw and paint. Persons who cannot express their words could express themselves through art. I wish that artists should get a good platform to perform their talent.

Absolutely satisfied because of supporting teachers and faculty, and they have been motivating throu
Placements: Since there were few admissions in the media department, almost everyone got placements opportunities. Internship opportunities were provided to me after the course completion, that was after 3 years, not during the course. Top companies include media graphics and news. The salary package offered can range from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 20,000 per month. Top roles offered in this course can be photojournalism, news and article writing, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite good. There was a good Wi-Fi connection. There are many classrooms and a mediocre library. There are separate rooms for separate departments, which is very nice and avoid chaos. The quality of food provided in the canteen was also good, although the variety is less. Medical facilities are very nice and are very helpful. Different sports and games are also available for the department.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are really helpful, hardworking as well as knowledgeable. They are qualified and also have a great experience. The quality of teaching is up to the mark, and they always welcome doubts and students queries. The course curriculum is very much relevant and makes the students industry-ready and provide exposure.
Other: I have chosen this course because of my interests in journalism and also for writing. The only thing that should be improved is that cameras should be provided by the college to everyone. Events are always around for the media department. The campus crowd is amazing. There is not much to add in extracurricular activities.

Faculty members in the college are knowledgeable and helpful.
Placements: Placements in our college are satisfactory. If the student has worked hard and performed well in almost everything, then their performance report is shared with the companies. The college prepares students to grab the best placement opportunities. The personality development classes are conducted which do help a lot in placements. Reputed fashion houses also visit the campus for offering internships.
Infrastructure: The college has a library with a vintage kind of look, and it has a huge collection of books. The canteen mostly provides packed food, and the quality of the food served is average. Classrooms are clean and well-lit. They are only fans during summers. Hostel rooms are also neat, clean, and ventilated.
Faculty: Teachers in the college are well qualified and helpful. They mainly focus on the basics. They help us in every way possible in assignments, group projects, etc. The course curriculum is useful. But faculty members don't have computer knowledge related to the course.

NIFT is anytime better than South Delhi Polytechnic for women. As no student completing the degree is an ordinary one. If you are not talented or able to complete all the assignments you cant proceed to the next level. The final ones from NIFT are always the best ones. No flaw in their talents.
