Q:   Is B.E. / B.Tech at Sri Chaitanya Technical Campus a good choice?

    A:
    {Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Here's a summary of the pros and cons based on the feedback from students and alumni:

    Pros:

    * Good placement record with maximum packages ranging from INR2-INR7 Lacs per annum
    * Relevant course curriculum that makes students industry-ready
    * Qualified and experienced faculty members who are helpful and supportive
    * Excellent infrastructure with labs, libraries, and sports facilities
    * Good scholarship opportunities and extracurricular activities
    * Friendly environment with occasional events and festivals

    Cons:

    * Limited placement opportunities in certain fields, especially in technical areas
    * Low attendance and poor performance of some faculty members
    * Limited hostel facilities, particularly for boys
    * Poor maintenance of some facilities, such as the library and sports grounds
    * Limited opportunities for internships and research projects
    * High competition among students for limited resources and placements

Overall, while Sri Chaitanya Technical Campus has its strengths, it seems to struggle with maintaining consistency across various departments and facilities. While some students had positive experiences, others faced challenges related to placement, infrastructure, and faculty performance. Therefore, students considering this institution must carefully weigh these factors before making an informed decision.

Recommendation: For students looking for a strong foundation in engineering and decent placement prospects, Sri Chaitanya Technical Campus might be a suitable option. However, those seeking specialised training, extensive research opportunities, or state-of-the-art facilities might want to explore alternative institutions.

Absolutely satisfied with my college in the year 2023.
Placements: In my batch, most of my friends and I got placed in electrical industries. This all credit goes to my college and faculty. Most of the students got 70% and got placed in different streams like EEE, ECE, CSE, MECHANICAL, etc. Recruited companies like Radiant, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Qualcomm, etc.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility we have in our college provides quality food. And it provides fruits during summer days. We have a big playground in our college in which we used to play cricket, volleyball, etc. The food is good, and the medical facility also supports the students at no cost.
Faculty: The faculty in our college is good and friendly with the students. They supported me in a good way. They teach subjects with excellent knowledge in the subjects. The course curriculum in our college is good and easy to understand by the students and teachers. This helps us to clarify our doubts and we can gain good knowledge in each subject with the help of the faculty.
Other: We celebrated some fests in our college like traditional days, fresher parties , farewell parties, etc.

iam just saying this taking of this course in this collage ish helpfull to me.
Placements: Most of the students were placed in our course.rhe highest offered pakage was 60k per month and the lowest was 22 k per month.our most recruiting Companies are ibm etc above 60% of our students from my course had internship. As a software designer .
Infrastructure: There were library and wifi system for our collage.the quality of food is just avarage but medical facilities are good and sports and games were very often played the we got huge access to our library and we will go to the library whenever we are free at campus
Faculty: The teachers had a great knowledge of teaching but should also think from the side of students to make it more easier the semister exams were not so hard but not too easy as they make us to think from another side of the paper a good collage in pov of studies.

I would not recommend joining this college.
Placements: Our college does not provide placement facilities. Students have to go off-campus. There is no special placement drive in our college. Our college is not tied up with the companies. Our college should focus on placements. Placements can be rated with 1 star out of 5.
Infrastructure: Our college provides us with all facilities. Our college does not provide a hostel for boys. There is a library with limited books. Classrooms are spacious. There is no special bus stop for the college and we have to walk some distance from the road. There are labs with limited equipment but they are not working properly.
Faculty: Our batch has fewer faculty members. They have basic knowledge. They only conduct mid-exams. They will not focus on students' studies. They do not show interest in teaching. They just explain the theory. They are not good at practical skills.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it. They are high openings for freshers. Our college has to improve lab facilities and practical skills for students.

Personally, I don't recommend this college. It is the worst.
Placements: There is no placement in our college for my batch and there no companies that come to our college for recruitment. There was no internship for any student in our college in our time due to Corona. In our previous batch, students got atleast one or two jobs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not up to the mark but they are upgrading now. Labs are okay and they have most of the equipment. Moreover, there is no hostel for boys but there is one for girls. I don't know what facilities they have.
Faculty: Teachers are less in number in the college. They don't have enough knowledge and patience. They just come for their personal experience improvement and for the Certificate. The pass percentage of our college is 70% which is totally based on a students’ knowledge.
Other: I chose electrical and electronics engineering. I don't have any expectation from my college.
