Teachers need to be more experienced here.

Placements: Only 10-20% of students get placed, which is quite disappointing. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, TCS, and Wipro visit our college for placements. Roles like BPO, BPM, operations executive, etc., are offered to the students. The highest salary package offered is 3.6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. The average salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. The only hectic thing is we need to attend the placements drive in other sister colleges.

Infrastructure: College surroundings are quite amazing, neat, and clean. It has a spacious atmosphere. There is greenery everywhere which gives a pleasant feeling and fresh look. The cafeteria is good with a wide range of foods at an affordable cost. Cultural activities are widely supported, and our college is accredited A+ grade by NAAC. Sports, NCC, and games quota people can continue their studies comfortably along with these activities.

Faculty: The course curriculum is good. It needs more experienced faculty members for better output and reaches in students. The course curriculum is relevant but needs improvement for better industrial requirements. We can clear the exams comfortably, and the current pass percentage in the course is 85.2%.

Other: I have chosen this course because the combination of statistics and the computer can give a better opportunity in the IT sector.

Average because the faculty is good, but placements are not good.

Placements: It may be 50% of the students get placed. The highest package is 30k and the lowest package is 18k. The average package of the selected students is 25,000. From the past 2 years, placements have decreased. After the pandemic, companies have been reduced. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Accenture, TCS, Deloitte, HCL, etc. We completed our internship. Some students completed it in Statistics, and others in computers. The Statistics internship was done at Codegnan Institute. Through this course, you get opportunities as a lecturer, data analyst, system analyst, statistician, etc.

Infrastructure: Facilities provided by the faculty are okay. But the systems in the Statistics lab were not good. Many of the systems in the Statistics lab were not working. There are 5 labs for computers, and the computer lab is comfortable with Wi-Fi provided at all times. The hostel is okay, but the food is not good.

Faculty: Yes, the teachers help the students and guide them well. Teaching has to be improved. Many teachers are resigning from this college. Statistics department teachers are friendly. This course can make students effective in the future. Semester exams are somewhat difficult, but through the guidance of lecturers, we can get good marks.

Other: I took this course because Statistics has a nice future and offers job opportunities. There are also more opportunities for Statistics students. The systems in the Statistics lab should be increased. Events are not that many.
