There are different kinds of students and very kind and helpful teachers.

Placements: I don't know exactly, but students who belong to the general category should have at least 60%-85% of marks, while other castes' students should have 50% in their 12th class to get admission in BCA. Companies which offer placements here are Tech Mahindra, Infosys and some other companies. Our college conducts events, seminars and other curricular activities for students to gain experience to qualify in interviews easily.

You can have a fine experience if you don't want to attend regular classes.

Placements: None of the top companies come here to recruit students. The best company would be Amazon, but it offered the role of customer support with a salary package of only 1.9 LPA. You have to find jobs on your own after you get over with your studies, and can't depend on them to help you.

Sri Guru Gobind Singh College is a good college for IT.

Placements: Placements in our college were much worse. Fake companies visited the campus this year by the name of HDFC. It was NIIT basically, and they were asking a deposit of Rs. 1,00,000 and even then also there was no placement. It's a very backward college for placements. There are not much placements and job opportunities here, but the college provides some of the opportunities to the student for placements. The same is the case with internships.

The college has a dedicated placement cell and every year placement cell organizes job fest.

Placements: The college has a dedicated placement cell and every year placement cell organizes job fest and many MNCs come and recruit students who non-teaching that particular job. And those who didn't get a job during placement drive are also getting a job once they complete their course. Some of them are in a very good position in different firms.

It is a good college for providing practical knowledge.

Placements: There are worst placements in our college, and not even a single company visits here for placements. I will never recommend this college to you if you want the best placements providing college. This college doesn't organise any placement drive.

It is the best college in Chandigarh for studying.

Placements: Our college provided the worst placements. No one can get the placement from this college. I don't recommend this college for you if you are looking for a placement. Companies sometimes visit the campus, and at times they may not visit. It depends on your batch.

This college is the best for study and to improve your skills.

Placements: Placements are not good in this college. None of the companies visited our college for placements. I also got a placement through off-campus placements. I won't recommend this college for placements, but you can take admission here for a good study. Overall, this college is good only for education but not for placements.

It is the best college for studying.

Placements: Placements are not satisfying in this college. Placement cell is not good in this college, and they can't place a single student. Our college is not good in terms of placements. I would suggest not to take admission in this college if you are looking for good placements. Only studies are good at this college.

There is no placement cell in this college but the teaching quality is very impressive.

Placements: There are no placements in this college, rarely 2 and 3 companies come but they hardly place one or two students not more than that. Students take placements on their own. There is no placement cell in this college. In my batch (2016-2019) there were no placements for us. This college is not good for placements and if you are looking for a good placements , then I will never recommend this college.

It is an average college as the main focus is on study rather than placements.

Placements: The college provides a few placements. The average salary offered was Rs. 7,000-8,000 per month. The college doesn't focus on placements and neither developing the soft skills which are required for cracking interviews. In 2017, only 10 students got placed. Most of the companies which visited here are from sales profile.

Faculty members as well as the infrastructure are good.

Placements: Placements are decent with the packages of around 3-4 LPA which are decent for B.Com graduates. Around 3-4 companies like Dell, Lays, IBM, and Bank of America visit the campus to offer placements. They offered average placements to students. They hire mostly based on the skills and knowledge of students. Most of the students get placed.

The college has all the facilities and is well maintained.

Placements: Most of the students from our batch are still studying, and our seniors were placed in multinational companies. There are no placements facilities. I had to search for it on my own. During our time, none of the companies visited our college to offer placements.

It is a nice college to study while having fun at the same time.

Placements: The college doesn't organise any placement drives. However, there has been a placement cell in the college, and it has failed on the grounds of inviting companies to the college for placements. Placement cell conducts regular seminars regarding interview tips and everything, but you have to apply outside the college for a job. Do not aim for getting a placement from the college, instead work on your skills and try for a walk-in interview. Moreover, do not aim for getting an internship. Instead, ...

A good college with brilliant faculty members.

Placements: Placements in the college are really good. The college helps students to get placed, and also provides internship opportunities which are great. Many big companies visit the college for placements. Almost 60-70% of the students get placements with good salary packages. Teachers are really helpful to get students placed in good companies.

It is an average college with good infrastructure.

Placements: The placements are provided for the students of professional courses, not for simple courses like MA. They have to try on their own through off-campus placements. The placements are good for professional courses such as B.Com and BBA. Approximately, 20% of the students get final placements in the companies. The average salary offered is around Rs. 15,000 per month. No internship is provided for M.A students, as they are also offered only to the students of other professional courses.

Good Faculty but need higher paid placement and should develop soft skills in students.

Placements: At my tenure, our college gave us various opportunity and I got placement call in mahindra finance after giving the paper for the company. Lot of fellow mates got placed in the various companies and accepted the job. The avg package was around Rs12000-18000 per month but I didnt accept and pursued M.A. Eco. No internship was offered to us by the college and I don't know about the placement cell.
