B.Com. (Hons.) - Batch of 2027
4.6

Faculty is very good. College is 8.5/10. The canteen food is bad, but the infrastructure is good.
Placements: I clicked on B.Com honours by mistake and it is not going back, but my course is a B.Com. Approximately 42% of students got placed in my course. The highest salary package offered is 21 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, KPMG, EY, Wipro, Dell, and Paytm. Around 60% of students got internships in companies like Bharti, Outlook, Logify, etc. Top roles offered are audit, analyst, and business development.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. All classes, labs, and canteens are fully air-conditioned. Wi-Fi is available in the whole college. The library has all books which can be issued at any time between college hours. The quality of food is however a little bit poor in the canteen.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are 7/10. It is on a difficult level. Almost 96% of students pass.
Other: I chose this course because I have a keen interest in commerce, accounting and taxation. I want that the more practical should be there for example tally in accountancy. There are very less events in our college as it is not on the north campus. The crowd is very good. The connectivity is also good because of the metro.

Bachelor of Management Studies - Batch of 2024
4.4

My college is worth a full review.
Placements: Our college provides a lot of internship and placement opportunities. Every week, 2 to 3 companies approach students for internship programs. Top companies also participate in this type of internship program. The best stipends are provided by the company for students.
Infrastructure: Our course, Bachelor of Management Studies, includes a detailed study of statistics and management studies. Our degree provides students with practical knowledge and management skills for implementation in real life. Hostels provided by our college are well-maintained.
Faculty: Faculty members at my college are very nice and helpful to students, but some teachers are not worth it. Exams for our course are moderate because without effort we cannot make it. Examination are very disciplined and strict at our college.
Other: I chose this course because I like doing statistics and getting management done through Maths.

B.Sc. (Hons.) in Computer Science - Batch of 2027

3Placements2Infrastructure2Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Garbage faculty, stagnant placement pool, mid infrastructure, hardly any facilities.
Placements: The college is a commerce college (much like most of DU), so the placement cell is more focused on the commerce courses. Us Science/other course people only get leftover scrap of the commerce placement. It's way easier and better to get placement on your own.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi barely works. The campus is at a network dead zone, so you barely get any 5G or 4G. The computer science computer labs were outdated back in 2010—they are practically ancient, whereas the commerce computer labs are state-of-the-art, even though half the final-year students from commerce haven't even used the lab once in their entire college experience. Another case of favoritism.
Faculty: Faculty bunks more than the students. You only find out if a class is canceled 10 minutes before, if you are lucky. The curriculum is alright; it's set by DU central, and it is pretty good given current industry standards. The classes are very rushed; roughly 10 chapters get done in 3 months of classes.
Other: The crowd is nice and decent, one of the few DU colleges with a genuinely friendly crowd and helpful seniors. The fests and events across DU are obviously spectacular, and connectivity inter-college is also very easy. The campus is nothing magnificent, but it is enough to have fun with your friends.

B.Com. (Hons.) - Batch of 2027

Absolutely satisfied Because of faculty, good placement, & good environment.
Placements: Students who have pursued B.Com (Hons) are doing well now. The highest package that some of the students are getting is around 4-5 LPA. More than 75% of students were placed in good companies. The roles offered in this course are accountant, bank manager, and human resource positions.
Infrastructure: Classrooms of SGGS college are average. The library is not for SOL students, and they don't open it on Sunday. There's no Wi-Fi for students' use in classrooms. Desks are fine to sit on and comfortable also. The quality of food is average, and the facilities of the hostel are nice. The hostel is for girls only, and there is a lot of safety.
Faculty: Teachers are good and qualified. They teach very well, and you can ask as much as you want from them. They teach about corporate matters and industries as well. Semester exams are not that hard; an average student can easily pass them after studying, and a below-average student can also pass with hard studying, of course. Well, overall, the college is nice.
Other: B.Com with honors is a very good combination, and I am sure that I will get a good opportunity on behalf of this. Proper notes distribution should be there for SOL students. Events and fests are amazing in this college.

About Sri Guru Gobind Singh College Of Commerce .
Placements: Almost 60 percent of the students got placed. The highest package offered in our college is 36 Lacs per annum. Companies like Google, and EY are some of the big recruiters. The average package is 6.25 Lacs per annum and the median internship stipend is 10,000. More than 60 companies visited the campus for recruitment.
Infrastructure: We have fully AC classes, every class has its projector, good benches, and a clean canteen. We have a proper gym for boys and girls and have a full-fledged cricket ground (although it is given on lease). We have a big auditorium. We have our own Gurudwara.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. We have an excellent group of teachers and they provide meaningful information. The course curriculum is the same everywhere. It does not make you industry-ready but the societies that this college provides make you industry-ready. Exams are quite tough. The internal exams were tough.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to pursue CA and the best thing about it is the course resonates with CA. More realistic things should be added to the course. In the case of events, this college is not so good. The crowd is average but there will be a good environment. No fights.

Great academics but less placements.
Placements: Average - 4LPA the lowest - 3LPA the highest - 8.5LPA Top Recruiting Companies Were Jenpat ITC Many companies came with internship programme and most of the students have enrolled it. Top Roles Offered in my college were as Supervisors, Accountant, Analyst, Human Resource.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available but most of them works very slow. Classrooms were good and clean. Sport ground is also good and many activities are also performed for students. Library is huge with lot of resources and most of the time AC keeps on running.
Faculty: Teaching quality is not good. There are lack of qualified and professional Teachers. It does not make the student ready for industries. Before going to industry the practical knowledge need to be outsourced. I have seen cheating can be easily done so passing percentage is good.
Other: In this college events and fest are mostly performed by artist.
