About Sri Guru Gobind Singh College Of Commerce .

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. We have an excellent group of teachers and they provide meaningful information. The course curriculum is the same everywhere. It does not make you industry-ready but the societies that this college provides make you industry-ready. Exams are quite tough. The internal exams were tough.

Our college has great teachers.

Faculty: Our teachers are great gurus who teach us not only how to ace the exams but also how to ace our lives. My experience here of being taught in my first year was great as all the teachers were very helpful. The curriculum is very relevant to this day and age. It is set according to the curriculum followed by other countries.

Garbage faculty, stagnant placement pool, mid infrastructure, hardly any facilities.

Faculty: Faculty bunks more than the students. You only find out if a class is canceled 10 minutes before, if you are lucky. The curriculum is alright; it's set by DU central, and it is pretty good given current industry standards. The classes are very rushed; roughly 10 chapters get done in 3 months of classes.

Classrooms are okay and the faculty is of mixed sort.

Faculty: The faculty is of mixed sort. Some teachers are amazing and very helpful while the others really don't care about the students. The curriculum is okay and the exams are not so difficult. One can easily score good if they prepare the past year papers.

College infrastructure is very good and they also provide placements.

Faculty: The teachers were very helpful and brilliant and their teaching qualities were also very good. There was a good bond between the teacher and the students so the students studied hard and could communicate with the teacher about the problems they were facing while studying.

Great academics but less placements.

Faculty: Teaching quality is not good. There are lack of qualified and professional Teachers. It does not make the student ready for industries. Before going to industry the practical knowledge need to be outsourced. I have seen cheating can be easily done so passing percentage is good.

The overall experience was good but the TOC for the 2024 batch was pathetic .

Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful; they consider you their child. Lamba sirand Satvinder Kaur ma'am's nature was very good and they helped a lot. You can ask for any help from them. They also help you with any attendance issues.

Good faculty, infrastructure, facilities and college.

Faculty: Professors are well qualified and knowledgeable. They are very friendly and approachable. Professors use various study materials, including PowerPoints, assignments, and handwritten notes, for the convenience of students. The curriculum is relevant but can be made better in order to give practical skills to students. The B.A. (Hons.) Economics semester exams are quite tough, but the but the pass percentage at our college is good.

Journey from Classroom to college of economics student.

Faculty: The faculty is highly qualified, many of them holding Ph.D. degrees. They are very knowledgeable and helpful all the time. The Economics Honors Course is a very interesting course where subjects like econometrics are job-oriented. The semester exams are quite difficult but are manageable.

This college helps you in various faculties.

Faculty: Extracurricular activities are also good compared to other colleges. The faculty of our college is tremendously good. They are very understanding and supportive of the students. There are several old teachers who have been serving the college for a long time, while some of them have recently joined the college. Teachers are from different backgrounds, including the Department of Commerce, Economics, Punjab, Computer Science, etc. Most of the teachers add "Dr." to their names, which shows they ha...

Is SGGSCC worth it? A big YES !

Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified in their respective subjects and are also very helpful and kind towards the students. They use a variety of teaching methods in order to instill newer concepts into the brains of the students for better learning. The course curriculum is also relevant and is future-proof for the students. It makes the students a bit ready for the corporate world.
