Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2025
4.8
4Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Helpful and cooperative faculty, improved placements, good infrastructure, and value for money.
Placements: From past years, placements have been tough for our past college students, but from this year our placement cell has improved, and now a 9-10 LPA package is normal for every student in regular and simple courses like B.Com. from reputed companies like McKinley Price, Decathlon, etc. for various roles like business development executive, social media executive, and other roles. If you have a theory course, it doesn't mean that you are not eligible for IT roles, but instead you can also apply for that.
Infrastructure: To be honest, our college campus is too small but has every facility like Wi-Fi, labs, neat and clean classrooms, an air-conditioned library, a gym that includes a cardio section also, separate rooms for extracurricular activities, CCTV surveillance, sports, and other activities has other grounds for that. Even pad distribution machines are also installed for girls in emergencies.
Faculty: The faculty of our college is literally awesome, very cooperative, and well educated. Faculty with minimum 10-15 years of teaching experience. Very helpful in assignments, doubt clearance, and their teaching quality is really good. They explain every topic in so simple language, even though I am not a good student in studies, but it improves my grade only due to my helpful faculty. I have experienced this for the past 2 years. Our course curriculum is properly maintained on New Education Policy and according to the University of Delhi. Semester exams are at a moderate level, and I think 70% of our students pass their semester exams. Remaining 30 includes students who are sick and not able to give exams, absent due to other emergencies, or don't want to study.
Other: I chose a Bachelor of Commerce because of my interest in banking, trade, and businesses and want to learn more about that and want to make a career in that, and my college is really helping me out to make possible my dream. I think more practical needs to be improved in my course, like Workshops to Fill GST Return, ITR Return, etc. To get some practical or market knowledge also apart from theoretical knowledge. Fests of our college are really amazing every year. A very reputed and famous singer has to be invited to our annual cultural fest. Various scholarships have been unannounced on college bulletins to benefit those in need.

Of course, very good environment and best teachers that makes the college more special.
Placements: There is less students in my course as if students take BA as not that much needed in future so yes there are only 19 students in my course. Maybe the most average package is 4l p.a. and the highest will be 6l p.a. mostly all MNC'S take BA students but you should have done more courses side by side to be the best among others.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is quite good for library and staff rooms but classrooms are so average as they are without AC even slow fans so I think college should work on that and also on the walls of colleges as the political parties scribble on the walls to promote their party so that doesn't look well and spoil the walls.
Faculty: Teachers are so helpful they help out as being friends they are not strict as they know college students are mature enough to know their right and wrong they are not kids to scold so teachers are so helpful and friendly in nature and also they help in exam times without any grudges to everyone.
Other: I love fest times as the college is too happening in this times with all the decorations and also so many stalls are there societies perform too much fun.

A decent College with good faculty.
Placements: About 30% of the students were engaged in the placements drive held in the college campus. I do not have any estimates about the average packages. Almost everyone who was actively present in the placements drive got placed and most of them got in different political consulting firms.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are pretty average and are somewhat congested, there is lack of proper ventilation in the rooms. Also there is no air conditioning in the classes so sometimes it gets difficult to sit, especially during the summer sessions. The Library is decent as compared to the other facilities available in the college.
Faculty: The Political Science department was quite good actually. The teachers and staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Even the course curriculum and the way of teaching was good and quite relevant. The semester exams are challenging as well as quite lengthy for the time provided.

Memorable days , can't forget
Placements: Around 20 to 25% of students from SGND got placement in multi national companies. Also it depends upon the students that how well and how strategically they see the coming opportunity. Talking about package the highest package went to 25 lakhs and not less than 10.
Infrastructure: All round infrastructure of our college is decent . We have good classrooms, having proper ventilation. We have decent canteen well we don't have very big one but it's good. We have library and no doubt we have every book available there.
Faculty: The teachers are amazing, well qualified and talented. They are always there to help us whatever help we need, it could be regarding the study material etc. We have semester exam 2 times every year also in middle of the semester, we also have to give class tests.
Other: I chose this course because I always wanted to choose this and having a keen interest in subject too. Also if I want to improve something I would like to add on to the fests to be conducted there.

Poor Classrooms but supportive Faculty.
Placements: The placement for my course is not that good because most of the students opt for a Master's after doing a B.A. Although many students do internships most of them are paid as well the placement percentage is about 20% for my course the major companies recruiting are L&T and E&Y.
Infrastructure: The college has everything. Except Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi is available but not for students and in the Library there aren't enough copies of books, the canteen also is a little bit expensive for students. The condition of classes is not good though. There is no AC so it gets very hot during Summer time, especially during exams.
Faculty: The faculty is very helpful in all aspects. Provides a lot of value-added courses to prepare us for industry. Provides guidance for personality development and other relevant skills required. Provides all the necessary educational content to prepare for semester exams.

The college is okay, mainly known for B.COM and there is good placement for B.COM and BBE.
Placements: My course is Hindi Journalism. There are 20 students out of which approximately 12 to 15 students get placement every year. College students get decent internships. A placement fair is organized here, and many companies come to select students.
Infrastructure: The classroom and library are okay but there is no ground for playing in the college. The canteen is okay, but the food is quite expensive and the quality needs some improvement. Medical faculty is available during emergencies and there is no hostel.
Faculty: The teachers are good and have a lot of knowledge, they teach things well. Semester exams are not very difficult, good marks can be obtained in them. Teachers help students understand things and tell them well about how to go for placement, how to do internships, how to keep things ready for the future etc.
Other: I took this course because I want to make my career in the field of journalism and after this course, we can do our job on the story, if we do things well.
