Good enough to provide you with a platform to learn and the environment makes you ready for life.
Placements: The placement cell at our college is just for the name. While they do organize various events, these often resemble job fairs rather than effective placement opportunities. Most of the job placements are concentrated in the Economics, Computer Science, and B.Com departments. Around 30-35% of students secure internships, either through the college or from other sources.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good, offering good ventilation, although there is a lack of Wi-Fi, which affects convenience. The library has received an award for being the best library and features very good infrastructure. In recent years, sports have gained enough attention from students, as they are regularly held on campus, along with intercollegiate competitions.
Faculty: Faculty members are quite good enough to deliver the best of their knowledge. They provide a very good understanding of the subject related. The science department is very good. It provides a better platform for students to be ready for their future as the respective departments are desperate enough to give trips to respective fields.
Other: I chose this course primarily for civil services preparation, as it covers various disciplines that provide sufficient knowledge in each subject. Scholarships are regularly offered, and festivals are organized very well. There are some areas that need improvement.

Deshbandhu College, University of Delhi .
Placements: Delhi University is a very reputed institution, making placements relatively easy. However, in Biochemistry, most students prefer pursuing further studies. Even for those seeking placements after their Bachelor's degree, securing a job is quite feasible.
Infrastructure: This course holds significant value. The building is well-maintained and clean. The college canteen offers average food, and the Wi-Fi speed is quite slow. There are no hostels available on campus. The college offers a variety of sports, but unfortunately, there is no football option for women.
Faculty: The teachers are experienced and hardworking. Classes are conducted according to the given schedule, and there is a strong focus on academics. The syllabus is designed to prepare students for the industry. The exams are of moderate difficulty, and one cannot expect to pass without proper preparation.

Review by Rudra Singh on Deshbandhu College .
Placements: Placement: Around 35% of students got placement in 2022, which includes 507 students out of 1420, and the median package for UG students is 4.17 LPG. The top recruiting companies were Microsoft, Wipro, Godrej, and HCL offered senior executive roles along with other posts.
Infrastructure: This college has one of the largest libraries in terms of space and collection. It provides library services with the introduction of new and modern ICT infrastructure. The college provides a canteen with a variety of eating products available along with good-quality of food.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and have over 20 years of experience. The course curriculum is relevant to a great extent, and the students feel comfortable attending classes. The semester exams in the college are relevant to the syllabus, and the difficulty of the question paper is average.

The Real Truth about Deshbandhu College .
Placements: 18 percent of students in my course were placed. The highest package was 30,000 per year, the lowest was 25,000 per year, and the average package was around 24,000 per year. Asian Paints was the top recruiting company. Almost 30 percent of students got internships.
Infrastructure: There are many classrooms and buildings with separate departments. The college is equipped with Wi-Fi, clean drinking water, water coolers, an archery ground, volleyball and badminton courts, a table tennis room, and a gym. The college library is very large with a good number of books. The labs have all the necessary facilities, from chemicals and equipment to physics apparatus and computer labs. The college currently doesn't have its own hostel. The college has a good canteen with good quality food and drinks. The college cafeteria has all sorts of snacks and drinks. The medical room is well-equipped for first aid.
Faculty: The professors are qualified and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant, but I don't think it is relevant to industrial work. The experiments we do in the chemistry and physics laboratories are very simple. The semester exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is 33%.
Other: I chose this course because it allows time for other exam preparation and is affordable. I wish the course had practical sessions in the industry to make us industry-ready. I wish the extra subjects that we have to study, other than the core discipline papers, were more relevant, as many are of no use in the industry. The college organizes many events that make college life enjoyable, especially the fest SABRANG. There are also many extracurricular activities.

Absolutely one of the best colleges of DU.
Placements: B.Sc. Physical Science Chemistry offers no placements; rather, most of the students are going for higher education like PhDs, and many are preparing for government competitive exams like CDS, AFCAT, CAPF, and civil services. Some are targeting MBA, which can boost their profile for the corporate sector.
Infrastructure: The labs are pretty much average, classrooms are good, and the desks are also nice. The college is Wi-Fi-enabled at every floor level. The best part of the college is the library; probably, this is the best library in any college of Delhi University. The mess/canteen is pretty good, and the food is available with hygiene at a very economical price.
Faculty: The faculty members are nice if you bond with them and attend lectures regularly. The course is pretty much relevant to the real world, as the name suggests. The semester exams are not that tough if you have attended the lectures and submitted the projects on time.

It is a decent college with great faculty.
Placements: There aren't many students from our course landing in reputed placements. It varies from course to course, and as of now, the scope is limited. Internships are available in museums and galleries, but the average packages offered by companies are not particularly impressive.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are decent, but there is no hostel facility provided within the campus premises. This could be a challenge for students looking for a full campus life experience. If you're hoping for on-campus accommodation, you might be disappointed.
Faculty: The faculty exceeded my expectations. Teachers are engaging and knowledgeable, with a strong research background. Classes are held regularly, and study materials are provided. However, there is a lack of physical reading materials which could be improved.
Other: It's good value for money, considering the course fees are reasonable, and the crowd at the college is decent.
