Q:   Question: How is the course curriculum for B.E. / B.Tech at Sri Indu Institute of Engineering and Technology?

    A:
    {Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

    Course Curriculum Structuring

    * Relevant and Updated: Many students agree that the course curriculum is relevant and updated regularly to make students industry-ready. ("The course curriculum is very relevant, and the latest developments that happen in industries will be updated.")
    * Industry-focused: The course curriculum focuses on making students employable and prepares them for the industry. ("This course is curriculum relevant. It makes the students industry ready.")
    * Technical Skills Development: The curriculum emphasizes developing technical skills, such as programming languages, data structures, and algorithms. ("Top subjects provided in this course are big data, data science, AI, ML, etc.")

However, some students feel that the course curriculum needs improvement:

    * Not Enough Practical Knowledge: Few students mentioned that while theory is important, they would appreciate more practical knowledge and hands-on learning. ("If you learn the course from the beginning, then it is very easy.")

If you want to enjoy, come to this college.
Placements: With some average percentage, they can join. The highest package is 12 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. Amazon, Accenture, and many more are the top recruiters. This college does not have more placement like other colleges. Very few companies are coming to hire us. The placement-related programs are very few.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. We have spacious classrooms; labs are also okay but some of the labs are not well maintained. The infrastructure is very good. When a student suddenly enters college, at first they like the infrastructure of college. Our college is a very spacious place.
Faculty: Faculty is okay. The curriculum is not suitable for children. The subjects are not updated. It is not relevant to industry. Faculty are okay. Some of them don't know about their subjects. Only a few of them know about subjects. The semester exam is very difficult. The exams are very tough .

    It's a good college, I recommend joining.
Placements: Our college provides programs conducted within universities or other educational institutions to provide jobs to students nearing completion of their studies. Placements are provided after the 3-2 exams, and they take extra care to ensure students get placed.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is okay, not too high and not that bad, and they were improving year by year. Laboratories were also okay, and the hostel is very good. It is spacious, and the food was also good and nice. The maintenance of the hostel and the varieties of food are also served.
Faculty: Curriculum was good. They are following JNTU curriculum and follow their timings of examination. So, mostly exams are with them. Both the colleges became autonomous, so they were self-centred. There is no issue with the center. It is good to have a self-centre .

Good if you give it a try.
Placements: I'm a cybersecurity student. We are about 60 members in our class, and about the placement offers, I got placed in a company with a package of 4.2 LPA. We have some recruitment companies in our college like Capgemini, Accenture, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, and some other startup companies. Now, my role is Software Engineer.
Infrastructure: At Sri Indus Institute of Engineering and Technology, the classrooms and library are always clean and well-maintained, creating a positive learning environment. The library has a comprehensive collection, allowing students to borrow any book they need. The Wi-Fi connectivity is reliable, supporting students' research and study needs. Faculty members are not only knowledgeable but also dedicated, making learning engaging and insightful across all subjects.
Faculty: They are helpful, qualified, and very knowledgeable in their subjects. Regarding the semester, ours is JNTU University, so we know the marks are not as per our expectations. Sri Indus Institute of Engineering and Technology boasts highly qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive faculty who are dedicated to helping students excel in their subjects. The institute follows the semester system of JNTU University, so students often experience rigorous grading, and marks may not always meet their expectations. Despite this, the college maintains a strong focus on quality education and practical learning, ensuring students are well-prepared for industry challenges while providing guidance to achieve academic and career goals.
Other: I like the cybersecurity course a lot, which is why I chose this subject. We must enhance our knowledge of the subject from other resources like Udemy, Coursera, and Javatpoint.

Absolutely satisfied with the facilities and infrastructure.
Placements: The students who got placed in the college placements are about 80 percent from our course. The highest package was around 3 Lacs per annum, the lowest package was around 2 Lacs per annum, and the average package was around 2.5 Lacs per annum. TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Colruyt, Foxconn, Keolis, Suryatech, etc., are the top companies. Interned students are about 85 percent from the course. The top roles are web development and software development.
Infrastructure: The facilities available in the college are too good, with separate blocks for different branches of students. Facilities include AC labs, seminar halls, a library, and free Wi-Fi around the entire campus. The quality of the facilities in the hostel and mess is reasonable, with a neat and hygienic environment. Sports meets are held every two weeks, and the medical services are also responsible.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful for the students. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable in their subjects. The quality of teaching is absolutely satisfying throughout the academics. The course curriculum is excellent as it prepares many students to be industry-ready. The semester exams are difficult, but we need to attend classes to understand the concepts clearly. The pass percentage is around 75 percent.
Other: Computer Science Engineering is the best course as it provides various opportunities for the students. Improvements like providing some good computers in the college would be great. Refreshment activities like fests, farewells, freshers' events, crowd meetings, and tours would also enhance the college experience.

    Our college has good infrastructure.
Placements: Above 70% of the students were placed in our college. The highest package in our college is 4.25 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.75 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Infosys and Capgemini. Above 70% of the students have done internships in our college, and they are doing internships in top MNC companies.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are very nicely provided. The Wi-Fi in our college is very good, and the labs and the classrooms are somewhat better. The college library is very nice, and all the books are in the library itself.
Faculty: The teaching quality is better in our college because we have M.Tech-studied faculty and Ph.D. holders too. The teachers are helpful in clarifying doubts, and they help in understanding the lessons for each and every student. The semester is somewhat tough in the college, but in every college, the semester is like this only.
