Good education in placements for civil engineers.

Placements: Earlier, civil engineering students used to get placed very well but as the years passed, the rate of campus interviews went down gradually, resulting in a very low number [around 40–50%] of students getting placed. The highest package that was offered for our course was 6 LPA, and the lowest was 2 LPA; the average could be around 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are L&T, TCS, Byju's, ITC, Biocon and many more.

The wonders I have experienced at SJCE.

Placements: As per my knowledge, our college will give us the best placements in core companies or dream companies. Some of the students prefer going to higher studies; last year, the highest package was INR 40 lakhs per annum. There are top companies and foreign companies that hire. We get an average package of INR 4 to 5 lacs per year.

It is a good college to learn new techniques in engineering field.

Placements: Placements provided in our college were not good. Civil engineering students try jobs in the IT field rather than the civil field because of good salary packages. Around 40% of students get internships in our college. The highest salary package offered was 40 LPA. Around 10% of students in our batch got placed in the civil industry and 50% in the IT industry. Some of them are doing master's degrees and others are doing their own businesses.

I am satisfied with the college.

Placements: Placements are good here. CS and IS dept have great placement records over the years and thanks to the placement officer who has done a fantastic job of bringing companies to the college despite the location disadvantage of SJCE. Even the EC department has a good record but most of the folks who get dream offer end up with software profile. If you are from another department, you will likely get placed in service-based companies like Accenture, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, etc.

Every student got a good CGPA of around 8.7, and students get the average salary package of 3.5 LPA. I suggest that never join this college, and it is a waste of your money.

Placements: There are various branches of MBA in this college, such as finance, marketing, HR, corporate finance, retail marketing and executive MBA. But there are no placements for all the branches of MBA as they are average only for marketing branch. If you are from finance and corporate finance, then you won't get placements and have to search for jobs outside the college on your own.
