Really good faculty, but absolutely dissatisfied about college campuses and internships.

Placements: 50% of students were placed in our course. INR 15k–50k per month is the average package, but it can increase depending on your skills. Major hospitals recruit for these courses. 30% of students get through an internship in a hospital. Biomedical engineers in hospitals and hospital managers in biomedical services are the top roles offered.

I would not recommend students to taken admission in this college.

Placements: Almost 70% of students got placed in this course. The highest salary offered was Rs 17,000 per month. The average salary offered was Rs 15,000 per month. The lowest salary offered was Rs 10,000 per month. Top recruiting company is Sutherlands. Internships are not offered at this college. Around 5% of students got internships in our course. Nobody is interested in getting placed in BPO companies.

You can join this college if you want to be free, but don't join if you want to study.

Placements: In our college, only 5% of students are placed. Top recruiting companies like Sutherland, etc., visit our campus. Internships are not available. The top role offered is a software engineer.

Satisfied with the college because of good teaching, placements, sports, and facilities.

Placements: The course I chose was computer science engineering. In this course, you will learn computer programming like C+, Java, Python, etc., from scratch, which is really helpful for you to get placed in IT companies. The percentage of students placed in my course is nearly 80%. The average package offered in my course is around 21,000. The top recruiting companies for computer science engineering are TCS, HCL Technologies, Tech Mahindra etc. Around 60% of students got internships in TCS. The top role...

I am absolutely dissatisfied because the placements are not good.

Placements: Placement facilities in this college are below average. The highest salary package offered until now was 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies in our college for our course are Infosys, Wipro and TCS. About 25% of students got internships from our course in companies like Infosys, Husys and Wipro. Our course offers roles like full stack developer, software engineer, software developer and tester.

It is an average college for academically good students.

Placements: Only 45% of the students got placements. Top recruiting companies were very few, and only 2% of the students got recruitment under this category. Many students are jobless and searching for a job till now. All the internships were useless. Our college didn't attain need.

You can enjoy your college days here and it has helped many find who they are! Poor placements, not a single company came for campus interview. As an alumni of this college I'm still searching for a job. Many extra-curricular activities take place like IEEE functions, symposium, etc.

Sri Muthukumaran Institute of Technology is not a good place to start a career.

Placements: Many companies visit for placements, but those are not core related. Many students get placed with good salary package. The internship is a personal choice, and the college does not involve in it. Students do take interest and join an internship outside the campus.

Compared to other colleges, it's the best. So good place to learn everything with happiness.

Placements: It's not 100% placements but 60 % are acquired. Compared to seniors, we are placed in top MNCs but seniors also placed in top companies and also in fine companies. 34k is the highest salary offered and the lowest is 10k. And the average is 16k. Companies like Infosys, Zoho, TCS, cognizant, etc.
