My life at Sri Shakthi Institute.
Placements: Students placements are 75%. Teaching is very good, with the highest package at 10 LPA and the lowest at 3 LPA. Students get placed in MNC companies like Biocon, Bioline, Biozone, CTS, Wipro, TCS, and Cognizant. About 65% of students get internships in their core sectors like Biomedical Engineering, Bioanalysis, and Microbiology.
Infrastructure: The college Wi-Fi is of average speed in the department. Hostel rooms are good, and the food is average. The mess and canteen are average in size, and a medical specialist is not available in our college. Sports are a priority in our college, and sufficient sports facilities are available.
Faculty: The faculty members are friendly and well qualified, so students can ask and clear their doubts. There will be three internal exams before the semester, and the exams will be easy to moderate level. The course curriculum is more relevant so that students can gain more knowledge in what they learn.
Other: I like Genetic Engineering and chose this course because the campus life is the best in college. The installation of more equipment for every course is beneficial. Events like Kalam, Velanthiruvizha, Onam, Sports Day, and Annual Day add to the vibrant campus life.

Good college if you are looking for placement; best for its significance.
Placements: 85% of students were placed in the previous year. The highest package was 11 LPA, the lowest package was 3 LPA, and the average package was 5 LPA. Top recruiters included Biocon, Clarus, TCS, Wipro, and more. About 90% of students secured internships at Aavin, RGS Animal Feed, Biolone, and Bio Explora. Common roles include Biomedical Engineer, Microbiologist, Geneticist, QC-QA Analyst, Bio-analyst, and Product Development Scientist.
Infrastructure: Every facility, such as labs and classrooms, is excellent and suitable for learning and development. The Wi-Fi connection is moderate, and the library is average. The hostel facility is above average and suitable for comfortable living. Mess food is okay, and the canteen is good. Sports are highly supported.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant to our studies and prepares students for practical work. Semester exams are not very difficult, as we learn all from the portions, and questions are mostly asked from the syllabus.
Other: I'm interested in genetic engineering from my school life. My course teaches about every biological process that facilitates our life. The main events are Velaan Thiruvizha, a traditional event equivalent to cultural festivals; Kalam, a technical event; and Onam, Annual Day, and Sports Day.

The review for this college is not recommended to others.
Placements: There is a 65 percent placement rate in our college. The lowest package is up to 2 LPA, and the highest package is up to 5 LPA. Biocon, Bharat Biotech, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Cognizant, and Wipro are the top recruiting companies in our course. Around 70 percent of students got internships at Laurus Biotech Laboratory and Biocon. The top roles offered in our course are researchers, scientists, drug developers, and more.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is moderate, and the laboratories are not well-equipped for project work. Free Wi-Fi is available, but classrooms do not meet high expectations. The hostel facilities are not bad, but the food is worst at night, and the canteen is equally bad compared to the hostel. However, there is good encouragement for sports.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and well-qualified, and they are friendly with us. Students are industry-ready for work abroad, but in India, there is low scope for biotechnology. Semester exams are easy, depending on your capabilities, and the pass percentage is 50.
Other: I'm a biology student, so I thought this course was relevant to me. The best thing is the eagerness to study, and the course is good with no bad comments. It should improve as the years pass. The campus is located outside the city, which is a negative point, and there are no bus facilities. Events are conducted once every three months.

Placements and infrastructure of my college.
Placements: 86% of students were placed in the last academic year. The average package is about ₹400,000 per annum. Biocon, Clarus, TCS, and CTS are the top recruiting companies, and most of the students also get placed in these companies. Many students also secured internships in their core companies.
Infrastructure: Equipment and good lab facilities are available, but higher-order tests are to be carried out on campus. Hostels are average for students to maintain comfortable living. Mess food is not great, but it's good and healthy. The canteen is good but not big. Sports are good and highly important.
Faculty: Teaching is helpful and relevant to our course. It helps students become more industry-ready. Semester exams are easy, as everything about the exam is based on the syllabus. The course subjects we learn are the best for our course, but sometimes they add unwanted courses.
Other: I was interested in Biotechnology, and my brother recommended it. More equipment would help improve our course. Fests include Velaan Thiruvizha, Kalam event, Onam, Annual Day, Sports Day, and Hostel Day.

Placements are good. The rest is a total disaster .
Placements: In my course, currently 70% of students are placed in the early 6th semester. The highest package offered is 24 LPA, and the average package is 3 LPA. Our top recruiters are Zoho and Wipro. The top roles offered for our course are data analyst or data engineer but here they only hire you for development jobs because the college won't teach you anything about data science.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure structure that is currently being offered by our college is very poor but they are constructing a new block called Tech Park, which seems to have advanced infrastructure and facilities. And for hostels, the worst part is the scarcity of water and cleanliness. The mess food is the worst of all. Most of the students will rent a room after their first year. I advise you to rent a room. Please stay away from the hostel as much as possible.
Faculty: Since its an above-average college, of course we cannot expect the teachers to be geniuses. Yet very few faculty members are very knowledgeable. From my experience, I managed to study for the semesters night before the exam from online websites like Geeks for Geeks and Java T Point. They won't teach anything and to be honest, they won't even bother to take a class. In my 2nd year, they took hardly around 2 months of class and the rest of the classes were skipped.
Other: I chose this course for scope, like everyone else. But they didn't teach data Is science the most funny thing? They will only teach coding languages but that will also be in the first year. The rest is up to you. In my opinion, if you are a student who has passed the 160 cutoff and want to experience college life with studies, I would recommend you keep this as a last option. The only good thing is placements but you only have to prepare yourself for that too.
