Absolutely good for our future.
Placements: I'm a freshman. Based on the information I got from my seniors, placements are low this year compared to other institutions. There are some students who got placed in good companies like Pennant. The highest salary package offered is around 6 LPA - 8 LPA. Maybe around 5% of students got internships from our course.
Infrastructure: Coming to the infrastructure, it is good. Classrooms have digital boards. The library has various number of books and resources for academic and other purposes. Labs are well-maintained and have a Wi-Fi connection with no issues. Facilities in the hostel are also nice. The food is average. Sports and gym facilities are available.
Faculty: Teachers in our course are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They are very helpful in the period of our entire first semester. The teaching quality is also good. I think we have learnt so many things that are useful for our future. Semester exams are very easy. Any average learning student can pass. I think the pass percentage in this semester is around 70-80%. It is high.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in the technical field. Learning about technology is my passion. In my course, there are many things that will be useful for my future. I wish I could improve the selection of subjects in my course because the necessity of including subjects like BEEE and BCME is very low. Coming to cultural activities, events and fests happen frequently. Extracurricular activities like sports and a gym are also available. College surroundings are surrounded by greenery. It is very pleasant.

Sri Vasavi Engineering College has a good medical facility that it has own ambulance for the college students and they take immediate action if any thing happened.

An honest review of my college.
Placements: In my college, placements are quite good. In the past year, out of 130, above 100 students got placed. The highest salary package offered is around 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is about 2.2 LPA. There are many companies based on design. South companies come from automobiles. Other companies like Hyundai Motors, etc., visit the college. In the mechanical engineering course, we can get a junior engineer role. We can also approach to design engineer.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure. It has good and well-maintained Wi-Fi. In classrooms, instead of having boards, they have panels to teach in a more technical way. We also have a central library. It has many books related to my course. We have access to all books. We also have a gym, canteen, indoor shuttle stadium, etc.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified. Some of them are pursuing Ph.D. Some have Ph.D. degrees. They have a lot of teaching experience. Some have more than 15 years of teaching experience. Some have above 10 years of teaching experience. The course curriculum makes us industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult in our college. Many students pass exams.
Other: I chose this course because I like mechanical engineering. There is growth in future in this field. The best thing about my course is that we can interact with the applications of things that we are working on. It is like the real world and real things that are happening. We can improve the syllabus by updating and introducing new technology and more advanced integrated things like AI. Every year, our college conducts a technical fest. Many events are going on in our college. We have festival events.
