Most delightful college Because of the management, staff , infrastructure, good placements in 2016.

Placements: As per the details of my seniors and my batch, there were a lot of conflicts regarding placements. Many companies had visited the campus i.e. Tech Mahindra, Alliance Global Services, Web Synergies, Mphasis, Open Text, Amara Raja and many more small scale companies. Often, there will be exams conducted based on AMCAT and CoCubes. Many students got placed by the help of these exams i.e. (AMCAT, CoCubes). In the academic year 2015-16, nearly 116 students were placed, similarly, in 201...

Not bad, but little above average.

Placements: If you have scored more than 7 in cgpa, then you will be eligible for placement. Training and placement cell will first train you for 2 classes a day, and 2 weeks later we apply for an online exam at monster.com. Selected candidates are eligible to attend final interviews. Companies like Amaraja Battery, Hyundai, Accenture, TCS (not our core) etc. were coming at my time. The salary offered started from Rs. 18000 to 25000.

Good infrastructure. Needs improvement and bad placement.

Placements: When compared to the last batch, more students from our batch have been placed. But most of the companies are BPO. Only 20 students are placed in good companies, to the best of my knowledge. To be frank, our college lacks in bringing good companies for placement.

Good enjoyment and placement but knowledge is nil.

Placements: I have completed B.Tech in Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering and Technology in the EEE branch at Chittoor. Regarding the campus placement, our college is the best in AP. Around 5-10 software companies and 4-5 core companies will recruit around 200 students As I am in the final year, software companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, UHG, Capgemini, HCL, NTT Data etc. Core companies like Somic ZF, Mahindra, Amararaja Batteries etc recruited around 200 final year students and they got an offer l...

I was satisfied with the college and they are very good at maintaining it.

Placements: When I was in college they conducted so many programmes and guided us for face to face interviews. Coming to placements, they didn't bring any big companies to the campus. They invited 10 small companies and according to my views, placements are not up to the mark. However, they brought some experts to give seminars to us for motivating us.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the placements but the infrastructure and classrooms was good.

Placements: Placements were good as about 40 to 45% of the students got placed. I cannot tell about the salary because it depends on the candidate to candidate. Open Text, Infosys, CSC, etc. had come placements. The roles offered in the companies were like system engineer, software trainee, software developer, etc.

A great diversity in the culture of students of students, good placements in 2016.

Placements: I was from the first autonomous batch, and fortunately, this has resulted in a better placements than my senior batch. Approximately, 25% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 4 lakhs per annum, the lowest was around 2 lakhs per annum. The various companies that visited the campus included Tech Mahindra, Epam Systems, United Health Group, Relgo Networks, Sysco reps and a few more.

The college is situated far away from the city. We usually uses RTC busses to go to the college. The college is very nice and beautiful. I enjoyed a lot in my college and have learnt many things. The college provides nice atmosphere and the faculty is up to the mark. We have a good play ground to play cricket, football, volleyball and indoor games in our college. We have a good sports trainer in our college as well.

It is one of the best college in this region with all our country known and more over with 3500 international students and it has the highest pass percentage in all the streams Al the way of success is getting into the college. There's a CCD on campus. Films are screened occasionally in the Auditorium. Boys have a lot of freedom, so do girls except that they have a curfew active from 9:00pm. Being a centrally funded institute, college fees is lower than all comparable institutes. Almost all big ...

College is located in a place where it’s easily accessible as well as with transports as well. College infrastructure is perfect. It will be good if you get selected in this college and proceed for admission. Coming to placements its normal no extra ordinary placements but it’s not that bad as well.

This college was the 2nd top most college in Chittoor district for studying Mechanical engineering. It has good infrastructure facilities and reasonable faculty members in the institution, the labs are good and don't expect much from teaching side. There are good professors but they don’t help much, good transportation facilities are there. There will be less no. of students placed from my branch, that too with less packages(less than 10K) and there will be no excursions, internship programs off...

Changed a lot from then to now. It became Autonomous. And students are from different states and even from other countries also. It is more than worth for money. It has ample of infrastructure with good laboratories and digital library. It is Wi-Fi connected campus. It can be used by students at any time other than regular class hours. It has good hostels with sophisticated gym, swimming pool etc. Don’t know how about the placements.

Classes at SVCET are great, if instead of gaining knowledge from books if you are seeking knowledge from the reality sector. Faculty is very friendly and the most important are placements. You will see here several from different backgrounds. SVCET maintains its standard in Education, Hostel Maintenance, and extra-curricular activities. A very good place to learn and a place where anyone will get a lot of opportunities.

Nice infrastructure. It is not fully based on the result. Also, maintain a good discipline nature throughout. College has made a development in extra-curricular activities. They are motivating in sports, studies, freedom, development skill, communication skill. They have got good placement cells. Most of the student will overcome with more talent & bolt when they graduate from the college.

The centre of attraction is the fine infrastructure with the availability of all the necessary facilities which are required for any engineering student to excel. There is a large pool of students coming from various parts of the country and abroad. The college is well known for its strict discipline towards academic teachings as well as compulsary attendance for all students. The teachings in classroom can be considered as OK. The main disadvantage what I see is, an old and orthodox thinking...

The College had good faculty at the beginning but after coming to final year all senior faculties left. Management is not good, don’t have any facilities except the library.

Dissatisfied with hostel facilities, but the college is good.

Placements: Nearly 50% of the students are placed in the placement and training cell. The highest package offered is approximately 7 LPA, and the lowest is approximately 3 LPA. L&T companies are recruiting for the course. I think internship is not provided in our college; only the students are placed in the college.
