Dissatisfied because of no placements.

Faculty: Teaching was pretty average and the faculty of the department was worse. They never tried to help and neither they taught well. Finishing 60 percent syllabus and taking the exam of 100 percent was their thing always. Semester exams were so difficult and they used to fails students so that can get the rechecking money. Pass entage was 40%. .

Review of SSM College of Engineering.

Faculty: Our teachers were less effective, and whatever they taught was irrelevant. Semester exams were conducted during winter, and it was tough for students. There were two exam papers in a single day.

I am satisfied with this college.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good and hard-working but the problem lies in the administration block. The employees in the administrative block are very rude and they hardly care about your time or money. The major problem of the college is the delay in exams and results. Exams are always delayed due to some reasons which cause delays in degrees.

Review of SSM College of Engineering.

Faculty: I would not rate it less than five stars because the teachers give their best. Teachers not only prepare the students for the semester exams but also for the competitive exams. The difficulty level of the semester exams is moderate. The percentage of students passing the examination is 80% and more from our department. It might be a little less for other departments. Overall, faculty members, curriculum, and exams are on point.

Our college is known for the best engineering and technology.

Faculty: All the faculty members here are known for their knowledge and skills. Their way of teaching is inspiring and motivating. Curriculum activities are good to express it and help us in all stages of life and help to students work in industries with knowledge. Semester exams are very tough as compared to other colleges. The pass percentage for every semester is 40%.

Review of SSM College of Engineering.

Faculty: The teachers are well qualified. The minimum qualification of the faculty is M.Tech, and some have pursued PhD also. So, the teaching quality in our college is above average. Since the college is affiliated with University of Kashmir, the course curriculum is set by officials of University of Kashmir and can be considered relevant and makes students industry-ready. In our college, examinations are conducted by University of Kashmir, and according to my personal experience, the difficulty of the ...

A good college if you have no other option.

Faculty: Faculty is quite good for teaching purpose. The course, it doesn't make students industry ready. Semester exams are controlled by Kashmir University and there's a very good chance that nothing of what you've studied the whole semester will be asked in the question paper. However, it is beginning to change since last year. Hopefully, they'll sort this out.

Dissatisfied because no practical knowledge given to student, Good campus and faculty.

Faculty: 1) Teachers were very helpful and qualified. That is the only thing I loved about my college. The staff was very friendly and they used to help us every now and then. But they focused more on theory instead of practicals. 2) There should be more practical subjects associated with this course rather than the theoretical subjects.

The college has qualified and student-friendly teachers but poor management and no placements.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were qualified, and teaching quality was good. There are younger generation staff members, so they have a good bond with students. We share good memories with them. They are very helpful and give their best to help us when we need their support. Their qualification was B.Tech. Some were M.Tech qualified, but most of them were B.Tech. Still, they had a lot of knowledge and shared a lot with us. The course curriculum is not relevant.

SSM College of Engineering is an average college.

Faculty: Personally, the teachers here are quite nice. But as staff, they are not that helpful. They are well educated, but most of the teachers lack the art of teaching. So teaching is not quite effective. Basically, this course curriculum is relevant, but the students are not professionally ready for industry.

The well-managed campus is loved by everyone, and I am satisfied with the college.

Faculty: Teachers are dedicated, hardworking and are helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. We get industrial exposure. The college organises various industrial visits. We have visited almost 20 places during our course. The college provides bus services for industrial visits.
