SSM College of Engineering Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,Namakkal

Placements: We did get many opportunities because it was pandemic. While we are passing now, they are providing some compensation for placement. They're also providing some placement training for students. The students of the entire college do not get placements from single companies.

Placements: Placements were very good. Almost 100% of students got placed in this course. Top recruiting companies visited our college for recruitment. The salary package was decent.

Placements: Placements in our college are average. I have never seen an MNC visiting our campus. However, they provide 100% placement, and it is true. But, the companies are poor. They provide an average salary of Rs. 8,000 per month. The highest salary offered is Rs. 12,000 per month. But, the main thing is that the jobs offered are not related to our field, i.e., computer science. Mostly, insurance companies and finance companies recruit students from our campus and offered roles in marketing.

Placements: I could say that the placement cell is below par. But, most of the students were placed in small-scale firms and companies. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 7,500 per month and the highest salary was Rs. 17,000 per month. Companies like Goodwill Commodities, Cafeteria, Indoshell, Sri Kannapiran Mills, LGP, Aqua Sub, and Citi Bank visited our college for recruitment. Placements: The placements offered were not good, just local companies that provide very less salary. For seniors, the placements were good, but this year no good placements were offered. The companies which are asking for the sales executive and marketing executive only are coming that provides less salary and heavy work.

Placements: Various national companies visit the college for on-campus placement of students from various engineering departments. Most of the civil engineering students get an average placement of 4 LPA-4.5 LPA. The highest placement offered is 7 LPA. Mostly the college prefers to get the toppers of college in good multinational companies.

Placements: They offered two MNC IT companies with a salary of Rs. 18,000 per month. Remaining 8 companies are BPOs. Mostly, textile technology course got more placement in the year 2015. They provided the internship for above 78% students. For students, they provided the entrepreneurship training.

Placements: About the placements, you can't say anything. This college is not meant for the placement. You graduate or do a PG from this college on your own. I am working in a private firm called LeLafe, so that I can gain experience and further move on. My college did not help me in any case in this matter.

Placements: My college is good. In our college they conduct many events. A few IT software companies visiting for the placements related to the computer application. Our college train the student for the placement attend. Surely the minimum number of the students will be placed in the campus.

Placements: The placements are nil. This college will provide you with a false promise regarding placement. The students have to do everything on their own. I mean, the teachers here are not highly qualified which makes it harder to get along. That is why you have to study on your own until the end of the course.

Good would be the faculty. Although you cannot expect someone to be that equivalent to someone from IITs and all. But still they are good. Transport facility is fine. You get access to nearby cities like Erode, Salem, Bhawani, and Namakkal through college transport. Rest everything will be bad to mediocre. The facility in labs are the worst. Placements: In our course the 90% of students are placed in different companies like wipro, TCS, IBM and some other startups also. The packages also like starts with 25 to 30000. 70%percentage of students got the internships to our course in the company's like wipro, Infosys and etc.

Placements: The placement process is great, and moreover the students from it sectors are placed in reputed mncs. Also the placements take place in a methodical way. The students are able to get the type of job that they want unlike other colleges you are not forced to join a company from your grades.
