Placements: Placements in SFIT are average. Every year, the mass recruiters, which is mostly TCS, visits and a truckload of people get selected. The average salary is Rs. 3,00,000 LPA. Out of all the people who applied for placements, 80% of the crowd was placed. Currently, the TPO is very bad.
Placements: The placement percentage is around 70-80% while there are students also who opt for higher studies abroad. The college has most of the IT companies like TCS, Infosys, etc. visiting for recruitment while many startups also visit for recruitment. Also, for students not willing for placements or higher studies, there is an entrepreneur cell which motivates the students for coming up with their own ideas and innovation.
Placements: Previous year, 100% students were placed. This year, still 20-25% of students are unplaced. Placements are still going on but the college is struggling for companies to visit us and recruit students. Highest package offered this year was 5 lpa that too, only 1 student got placed for that company and the lowest package was 2 lpa.
Placements: Placements were good and almost 70% students were placed. There were no companies for electronics and telecommunication. All the IT companies like Infosys, Capgemini and Accenture hire students regardless of their course. Companies like Infosys and Capgemini hire in bulk around 100 in one place which contributes to the majority of the students.
Placements: 100% placements were there in the previous year. The maximum salary offered was 5 lakhs PA and the lowest was mostly 2 lakhs PA. The total number of companies was about 16-18 who came for campus placements, while the rest of them were at the company venue and pool campus drives. As compared to previous batches, placements this year were not up to the mark maybe due to global recession but almost every student got placed by the end of the semester.
Placements: Placements are a lot better in SFIT. The placement rate is higher in the field of IT and CS. Core companies in electronics and telecommunications are very rare. If hoping for placement after completing electronics and telecommunications engineering, it is not worthy. You may end up working in an IT company.
Placements: Placements in SFIT were good for computer and IT people. Companies like Capgemini, Atos, TCS, etc. recruited the students. But for EXTC, there were very few companies. The main problem was they were all IT companies and it was open for each and every student, and these companies only used to take IT students. There were also startup firms like ARK Technosolutions which hired for BDM and RND roles. There was no dedicated cell for placements in SFIT. A placement cell should be driven by the stude...
Placements: Placements were average. All the companies coming for the campus interview were IT-based and as I was an EXTC student and I did not want to go to the IT field-based job. Our TPO didn't call any core EXTC companies for the campus interview. So, it was really worrying for EXTC students who want to go for core companies. The companies which visited are TCS, L&T Infotech, Capgemini, Seclore, Endurance, Mindcraft etc. The average salary was 2.7 lacs.
Placements: Placements in the college are just average. TPO is very rude and doesn't help students. All the company that comes are IT only. TPO said that he didn't call core EXTC company like Reliance Jio because they were offering lower salaries. Around 80% of all eligible students get placed. In EXTC, the percentage is even lower. The highest salary offered was around 4.5 lakhs and lowest was around 2.2 lakhs. TCS, Capgemini, LnT Infotech, Seclore, Mindcraft, Yapsody, Crimson Interactive, Endurance, etc w...
This is one of the engineering colleges whose name speaks for itself. It has a host of clubs and activities to choose from for all round development, depending on your interests. Robotics, Quizzing and debating are just a few of the many activities available. College hosts cultural fests, which itself are worth joining the campus. Of course, you can't miss too many classes, attendance is strict. Faculty members are good but not great. Students here are extremely friendly and try to enjoy their ...
The best thing about this college is its campus and placements. Hardly any other colleges in Mumbai have larger campus than SFIT. Every year at least 70% of the students gets placed with leading companies like TCS and IGATE, which give average package of 3.25 lakhs. Faculty is not too strong.
It is just another college. The college is not the best but good placements. The campus acquires good crowd but not so good professors. Also, the college is very strict. 1st year is very tough. Attendance is compulsory. Placements are only from service based company like TCS, Infosys, etc. Had some amazing festivals like IRIS n Mosaic.
SFIT has a good brand name. It is a catholic minority college. It is ranked in Top 10 colleges under MU. Good thing about this college is the faculties are very good. IT department is very strict. The location of the college is not that good. No places to hangout. Canteen is the worst thing about college. Campus is vast and beautiful with gymkhana, Badminton court, Volleyball court, Basketball court, Rink football ground. The cultural and tech fest are average. Placements is around 80%. If you a...
College is Located near to borivali and dahisar railway station there are three different streams at present and three more to come college. College have IT Computer Electronics and Telecommunication and will also provide Mechatronics, Civil Mechanical by next year Environment is good many of the teachers are excellent in their field and very helpful.
My college life was fun and the campus placements were good and helpful for many students. Each year we used to have fests where everyone could participate and show their talent in front of a panel of judges and it was exciting. Studies were given utmost importance and the teachers were great at their job and they used to hold extra classes as well for those who find it tough to learn a subject and students could approach the teachers at any time during college hours and even afterwards. The...
Placements: Approximately 80% of students from my course were placed through campus placements till July 2024. The highest package offered in my course was around 10 LPA by IDFC First Bank. The average package was around 5 LPA. The lowest package was around 3.24 LPA. Top recruiting companies for my course include Seclore, Neebal, Montran, KPMG, IDFC First Bank, Colgate, Intellect Design, BNP Paribas, Sport Interactive, Dolat Capital, Zensoft, BrowserStack, and Able Fintech. No internship is provided by coll...
Placements: The chemistry department needs helps a little bit .....the labs are nice and the teachers are helpful but I am a bit doubtful about the campus placement .There are many clubs like robotics and electronic. There are also many events held .The student life is also nice and positive
Placements: Almost 80-90% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 18 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. The average salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Browser Stack, Tech Mahindra, Byjus, and Amazon. Around 50% of students got internships in this course.
Placements: Up to 20 to 50% of the students were placed in my course and were offered a salary package of Rs.12k to 15k. Toyota, Mother dairy, Wipro, etc. are a few companies that came to offer placements to the students.
Placements: Mechanical engineering is a new branch that has been introduced in St Francis Institute of Technology. So giving the placement scenario at this time would be pretty childish as this is the 4th year since when mechanical engineering was introduced here. There were a few students who got placed in companies such as Capgemini on a base salary of about 4 LPA and the placement scenario of other branches are pretty good with more than 80% of the students being placed annually. The highest salary packa...
