St. Joseph's College, Irinjalakuda for M.A. Malayalam in 2025 admission.
Placements: This college provides placement facilities to every student, but there is one condition for participating in the placement campus: a 6 CGPA in your final semester exam. In this college, many companies offer internships through the college and provide salaries ranging from 2 Lacs to 5 Lacs.
Infrastructure: This college provides many facilities such as neat and clean classrooms, bathrooms, labs, library, gymkhana, water machines, hostel rooms, canteen, etc. The facilities are available. In this college, hostel facilities are available, and the same facilities are provided as department facilities.
Faculty: This course curriculum is very good and relevant. The teachers are very good at teaching, and the professors are highly educated. This course is a total of 1 year in duration, and 2 semester exams are allocated by the college because it is an autonomous college.

I'm proud to become a Josephine.
Placements: The percentage is the lowest for the biotechnology course. Zara Biotech is one of the companies that provide placements. The students get internships every year, and a place called Maala in the Thrissur district provides internships near the college.
Infrastructure: The facilities in the college are good. The classrooms are well-equipped, and the library is a peaceful place. The Wi-Fi facilities are poor. The network is too slow on the campus. Sometimes the Wi-Fi is not available. The lab facilities are good and fully equipped. The hostel food quality is very poor. The mess is not clean and tidy. There are various types of games and sports-related programs in our college.
Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful and supportive. They are well-qualified and have pursued Ph.D. levels as well. The semester exams are somewhat difficult. The four-year UG program’s exam pattern and syllabus are all new, so the question pattern is not relevant to us.
Other: I chose this course to gain knowledge about biotechnology and its future goals. The faculty teaching style is the best thing about this course. There is a scholarship, the e-grantz scholarship, for the students. There are more events associated with all departments.

Absolutely, I am satisfied because of the college campus.
Placements: Above 60% of students were recruited to our course. My course fee is 35,000, but I got a management seat, so I had to pay 50,000 with my donation fee. The top recruiting company is Veta Company. In our course, there are a limited number of internships provided by our college.
Infrastructure: In our college, we have Wi-Fi facilities, labs, a library, and classrooms. Our lab is big, and they provide lab facilities, but they are limited. Our college has many classrooms, but our classroom is small. I am in the hostel, and it is good. Many facilities are provided, but the food is average. However, our rooms are comfortable.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, but sometimes they are not helpful. Overall, they are good. Our course curriculum is relevant, but it does not make students industry-ready. Our semester exams are very tough, and for me, it is very difficult to pass the exams and write them.
Other: I chose this course because I am very interested in lab and Biology-related subjects. Our course is related to future trends; biotechnology is the use of advances in molecular biology for applications in human and animal health, agriculture, the environment, and specialty biochemical manufacturing.

St. Joseph: A Place to Empower Women and Explore.
Placements: Placements are not so wide in our course. Other courses have placements. The majority of students in our stream go to research after graduation, so placement is not really required. I don't know about the placement packages. Our college has a good relationship with Zara Biotech Pvt Ltd for internships. They provide internships for 2 months. The top roles offered are mainly for researchers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is really good. All classes are equipped with smart screens. Teachers take classes with the help of these screens. There is Wi-Fi, and students have to log in every time for a connection. Labs are highly equipped and useful. The library is very vast and very helpful. There is even an AI robot to help students. The hostel is not suitable for everyone. The monthly fee is 6000. The food is very bad. Some can adjust, but some cannot. They need us to submit phones at 10 pm and give them back the next day at 8 am.
Faculty: Teachers are highly talented and experienced. They are very helpful. Every one of them has completed their Ph.D. The course curriculum is very relevant. They prepare students to be ready for experiments. They even teach the basics of biotechnology to help students understand the course. Semester exams are tough but manageable if studied. The pass percentage is above 90%.
Other: There is only an aided course for biotechnology in Kerala. I like to study viruses, medicine, etc. There is an E-Grantz scholarship for SC, ST, and OBC students whose annual income is under 1 Lakh. There are many clubs and wings for students.

St. Joseph's College Irinjalakuda: A world of exploring.
Placements: My batch is 2024 to 2026, and I’m studying M.Sc. Biotechnology at St. Joseph's College Irinjalakuda and biotechnology is an excellent course. Zara Biotech provides internships for students, and students are getting opportunities as our college is providing placements and internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities are excellent, with good teachers and other staff, and availability of Wi-Fi. Good lab infrastructure and the library is very useful for students. The college hostel food is very poor, and the behavior of the hostel staff is very bad.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers help us a lot, and they should take more effort to take classes. They are well-qualified teachers and have good knowledge of their subjects. The curriculum is very relevant, and the semester exam is not too tough. They provide two internal exams in one semester.
Other: I’m studying M.Sc. Biotechnology, and I chose this course for a good scope in the research field and high opportunities in the future, that help our country with development. The campus is good and eco-friendly.
