Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Self-financing courses are there above 68% of students from self-financing courses than aided courses. The lowest package was 17000 per semester, and the maximum was 19000. Recruiting companies are there. Most of them will be banks. The last of the students are doing internships, like B.Com, BBA, B.Com professional, and BCA courses offered.
Infrastructure: Classroom facilities, library facilities, and computer labs are there. The college has good infrastructure facilities for the students in each department. Hostel facilities are also good. The hostel is neat and clean. Facilities for sports students are also there. Because college gives more importance to sports. Medical and canteen facilities are also there.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They will take the portions day to day. They will complete the portions as soon as possible and conduct the exam without delay. Semester exams are conducted without delay, and the minimum percentage should be 60%. Semester exams have slight difficulty.
Other: I have selected B.Com finance. So we can know about the financial area in commerce. I want to improve the theoretical aspects of finance. But I like to study problem papers. Many fests are also organized in our college.

Campus life here is the best, and the college provides good placement opportunities.
Placements: Above 25% of students got placed the year this course was introduced. In the self-finance section also, we can choose it. The top companies like SBI Federal Bank, Infosys, L&T, and TCS came here for placements. This college provides scholarships for the best students.
Infrastructure: The college classrooms have Wi-Fi facilities. Projectors are available in every classroom. The college has a lab for each section. A huge library is available. The college has a boys' hostel and a women's hostel outside the campus. The college highly promotes sports and games.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful with our studies. The teachers are qualified and knowledgeable and have at least a JRF. The college conducts exams on time, and there is no delay for exams. The exams are somewhat difficult.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become an accountant. I think this is the best way to become an accountant. The college conducts many events like Nirvana, IVE, and all departments have their own events.

For a stress free college life with a minimum fee, I'd recommend. For placements, I'd not recommend.
Placements: Regarding placements, St. Joseph's is far behind. Reviewing the last five years' placements, the only recruiters were Federal Bank and South Indian bank. The undergraduates were offered clerical posts with a package under 4 LPA and for postgraduates, the post of PO in Junior Management with a package of 6L per annum was offered. In my batch, out of 60 students, 2 students got placed in SIB.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is decent compared to other colleges in Kozhikode. There is a very nice library, science labs, computer lab, auditoriums, and a canteen, however, I would never recommend eating from there. The only demerit is that there's no college hostel available for UG girls. There are many hostels and paying guest rooms available for girls in nearby localities. UG and PG boys and PG girls have been provided with hostel facilities within the campus.
Faculty: The teachers in the Dept of Commerce are amazing. I loved attending their classes and getting their guidance. They're quite lenient which makes the students less stressed about college studies. The exams are not that difficult. It's easy to score 75 plus marks. The college follows the CGPA system. Since it's an autonomous college, exams are conducted on time and so does the release of results. Coming to the course curriculum, it's slightly outdated and it doesn't equip the students with any kind of skills and doesn't prepare them for the industry at all. Recently, some certificate courses have been introduced here. Some courses for like Tally and SPSS are offered at college at a minimum fee.
Other: The best part of studying in an aided college is the concession in fees. Initially, I had to pay 10k which had covered my first year's fees and funds for PTA, maintenance, etc. It's a one-time payment. The semester fee for B. Com was only 2k per year. Exam fees are around Rs 600 per semester. This can be covered under the E grants scholarship, which is awarded based on 12th board marks. You can apply for other scholarships through the NSP website. The campus is not that huge but it's lovely and is situated in an accessible place. The Union conducts different programmes which make college enjoyable.

Review of St. Joseph's College, Kozhikode.
Placements: Our college offers good placements. Students from the sixth semester onwards are eligible for campus placements. About 50% of students got placed in good companies last year. Federal Bank, Wipro and Infosys offer opportunities. Most of the students get placements.
Infrastructure: Our college provides high-quality and safe facilities in hostels. There are girls' hostels and homely meals. Our college also provides free Wi-Fi for college students and teachers. The classrooms are huge. The library is also huge, and it has all books on a variety of subjects. In addition, the college has two cafeterias, an indoor stadium, an indoor cricket pitch and a grass field with complete green grass. The college is near to Kozhikode Medical College.
Faculty: The teachers in our college are highly talented and qualified professors. Only experienced and talented teachers are approved as department heads. They control all activities-related subjects. The course gives us more knowledge about marketing, laws and regulations, accounting, entrepreneurship, etc. There are high opportunities for students in commerce. Exams are very simple in the first two semesters, and then the difficulty can be eventually increased.
Other: I like this course because it's most related to accounting and business. Our college organises many events like cultural activities and fest-related courses, internships, etc.
