It is one of the best colleges in Kerala.
Placements: Job fest is conducted in our college every year. All the interested students can apply for placements from the 4th semester. The recruiting companies were HDFC, LIC, Vidhya Jyoti Educational Society, etc. These companies provided good offers to students according to their interviews. Around 70% to 80% of students get placed every year with a salary package of 2 LPA to 5 LPA. I want to go abroad after my degree for a job.
Infrastructure: Tagore hostel was provided for boys. The facilities in the hostel rooms were average with enough space, ventilation, electricity with light and two 3 plug ports. The food quality was good and the menu was decided by the hostel students. Registration fee varies every year according to changes in the establishment. Students have to pay money for food monthly and it varies as it is based on self dividing system. There were private hostels and PGs in medical college junctions, kovoor, etc. Each classroom was sufficient for 60 students.
Faculty: All the faculty members in our college were understanding and helpful. Students asked their doubts after the class to their concerned teachers. All the PG students should give a presentation on the given topics from the syllabus which makes them ready for their future and helps them to prepare well. Semester exams were conducted every 6 months and the mid-semester exams were conducted for 3 months. Mid-semester exams were easy to pass and semester exams were easy if students attended classes regularly.
Other: It was a good course for students who were interested in teaching or the government sector. Our course fee was Rs.47,500 per year.
