Review of St. Joseph's College of Engineering.

Placements: In mechanical engineering, the students placed in core are drastically low; they can also get placed in non-core software jobs in service-based companies. In our course, 4.21 LPA is the highest salary offered. Companies like Renault Nissan recruit us. 80 percent of students get internships.

Foodie College! Strict tooo.

Placements: This college is overall okay, but it will take at least one year to get the hang of it. 80 percent of students are placed in this college's last placement. We get an internship if you search alone, but they will give it on duty if it is a good company. The top roles offered are service-based.

I am satisfied with our college.

Placements: Almost 70% of students were placed in our college. The highest salary package is 2 LPA and the lowest is 1.5 LPA. L & T, Wipro, HCL, Infosys, etc., are the top recruiting companies for our course. A maximum of 50% of students received internships. The role offered is software engineer.

It is good for placements seeking students. But not for students who love exploring life.

Placements: Every year, our college holds a placement record of more than 95%. More than 170 students out of a total of 180 get offer letters from companies. The highest salary package offered is 9.5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA for students of CSE. Top recruiting companies are Zoho, Thoughtworks, Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, and Deloitte. All the placed students will be doing their internship during the 8th semester till graduation. Full time employment is applicable after the final s...

Go for food and not for engineering.

Placements: 50% of the students gets place and they advertise as if they have placed 100%. Maximum package which came to our college was 14 LPA. Adobe is the biggest recruiter according to the package and CTS, infy is bigger by recruiting most number of students.

Satisfied with food, placement. Dissatisfied with strict rules.

Placements: Approximately 50% of the students are placed now and it is estimated to reach 65-70% as few companies are yet to conduct placement. The highest package offered is around 6 Lacs, the lowest package is around 1.8 lakhs and the average package offered is around 3 Lacs. Top recruiting companies are McDermott, Sanmar, Spic, Eco labs along technical side and Infosys, Zoho, TCS, CTS along with IT companies.

The college is like a school.

Placements: Around 30% of the placement eligible students from our batch got placed. Our major recruiters were Infosys and CTS. Only a few students were able to enter into the core field in the pool recruitment drive, which was held in the nearby colleges. The salary package offered ranges from 2 LPA - 5 LPA.

Join this college if you can bare strict academics and rules.

Placements: Placements were good here. Mainly reputed IT companies visit here with good offers. Do not expect more placements in core companies. Decent salary packages were offered to the students. The average salary package offered would be 3 LPA. Percentage of students getting placed would depend entirely on market demands and students talent.

I am completely satisfied with the infrastructure, facilities and food.

Placements: The placements in 2018 were not good compared to the previous batch. Only 60% of the students got placed, and that too with an annual package of less than 3 lacs. Only IT companies like Infosys, CTS, and Wipro visited the campus. The placements in our college were not good compared to other colleges.

Dissatisfied because of the management policies.

Placements: Management won't allow the students to go for an internship even if a student has the offer. Placement training is good. The salary package varies from 2.5-12 Lacs where most get below 4 Lacs. The placement cell is not very student-friendly, but people work hard to bring in lots of companies to the college for placements.

The college has good infrastructure and the best food.

Placements: The IT placements have just started in the college, and the seniors batch had a slump in IT placements due to various reasons, but the core placements were normal. For core industry, we need to move out of the college as our core is much limited. We are given certain additional value-added courses, which would be useful for attending interviews.

The college is for only food, but bad education system.

Placements: This time placed candidates were more than the senior batch. Around, 30-40 percent places offered at now. The salary offered is Rs. 20,000-1 lac per month. The roles offered like the developer, software testing, sales, etc. All the student have got the internships. There is a placement cell. But not useful and efficient.

College gives priorities to discipline and marks. Comfortable for students who are studious.

Placements: The placement is good but you only get IT companies. They will give training for placements and you need to pay money, which is compulsory for all students. Placement training will be given by outside staff members. In my batch, totally 890 students are placed. They were placed at Zoho, Cognizant, Infosys and Wipro.

The college is located far from the city. The campus can be rated average for its beauty and buildings. But it lacks the college life that many may seek. The faculty are good and the placement can be rated average. But the bad part about this college is that it’s very strict and it misses the college spirit which is very important. The food is very good. But the student crowd as well as the college fests are to be honestly speaking is very bad. It lacks in the fests section as the fest here is n...
