My journey at SJc for 3 years- as the college grows towards becoming a university we grow along with

Placements: I did a degree in a triple major (EJP). In terms of my core subjects there was only about one or two jobs available from the placements office. There were about two or three companies that allowed B.A. Students to sit for placements for their company like McKinsey and Company and Griddle but these jobs had no relation to my subjects. Since this was the first batch of the commerce B.Com to graduate the placements were not as many as colleges like SJCC because most companies think this is only an ...

Overall this college is one of the best colleges. I can assure, and there will be no regrets.

Placements: Few companies like Google, Dell, Infosys etc., were seen. The campus placement in this college is not that good as the subjects thought are not mostly meant for that purpose and are meant for further studies. Only a few get selected and also are paid less comparatively.

I had a fun time in Joseph's College and sometimes I miss being there.

Placements: We had good companies coming to our college. Our branch was related to electronics so it was good. Since our batch is related to hardware, our opportunities were less, but whichever companies came, they were good. We even had certificate courses related to our placement, so that we could get placed in a good company. They used to train us like how to talk and how to attend an interview etc.

It has an amazing faculty and there is an encouragement to the freshers.

Placements: The placement has been good in St.Josephs College of Arts and Science. Many multinational companies and many other private companies come here for interviews. About60% of the students got the internship from the college. There are no specific rules, but students should dress decent, and ID card is compulsory. Since I am a fresher, I don't know much about placements.

The best college to do Bachelors.

Placements: The placements were good for computer science students, but EMS couldn't get a placement related to its field. I feel that not enough importance was given to EMS for the placement. But our senior batch got placed in the good companies like E&Y. I feel that it is better to complete your masters and then work.

Hoping to gain excess knowledge then this is the place.

Placements: Placements are not guaranteed as big shot companies just take the cream. If there is a class of 60 people around 20 will be placed. Highest for a BCA graduate was 21Lakh per annum and the lowest was 18000 per month. Facebook, infosys, Wipro, etc. No internship from our college.

Good infrastructure and facilities that leads to useful learning which is helping me even today.

Placements: The companies that comes for campus recruitment, mainly come to hire computer students and the profile they offer is of an analyst. Only Asian Paints came for a sales profile and offered rupees 6 lakhs per annum which is the highest for that year. The average placements for St. Joseph's is generally around 3.2 lakhs per annum. Lowest amount was offered by Tech Mahindra and that was 1.8 per lakhs annum. There are good companies like EY, Asian Paints, Thomson Reuters, Wipro, TCS, Infosys and Tech ...

It is somewhat lacking in the visual communication department, but a wonderful place to go to college. It is very well located. The only thing is that they don't have car parking for students, and there aren't very many places to eat around the campus. Lab facilities are great, though, and teachers are extremely sympathetic towards students.

The students grow up to be approachable, supportive and accepting of others. Josephites tend to be great leaders and positive toward life. There are a number of associations that you can be a part of, which are open to all. The Visual Communication course is designed to give you a brief overview of filmmaking, graphic design, journalism, photography, screenplay writing, etc. You will be surprised at how many of them overlap with those of institutions abroad and in India. A huge drawback is that ...

St. Joseph's College, Bangalore is one of the oldest colleges in the state of Karnataka with a history of more than 130+ year. I am doing my final year BSc in this college and as far as I know I have changed a lot from the time I joined this college. This college is not only good in education but also helps in developing your skills and bring out your hidden talents. The teaching staff is the best and the college has good infrastructure as well as the placements.

Shift 1 of St. Joseph's University .

Placements: The placement are good but there is no list of the top tier companies like Goldman Sachs, J P Morgan, etc. Hence preferred to self job hunt than giving all the hope on the placements. There is also partiality to shift 3 and shift 1 which might effect the students.

Absolutely loved this college.

Placements: As a student of St. Joseph's pursuing Journalism and Sociology, I'd say the placement scenario is quite promising, though it varies by individual performance and networking. About 70-80% of students in Journalism secure internships, while Sociology internships tend to be fewer. The highest package range around 6-7 LPA, with the lowest being 2-3 LPA, and an average of 3.5-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies include media houses like Times of India, The Hindu, and non-profit like CRY and Teach for Ind...

I would highly recommend the college if you love to do activities and see your self growing.

Placements: The placements were very poor, companies were not formally conducting the interviews and very few companies were there to recruit us. E&Y and some other small companies recruited us. I think 45% got placed (before and after graduation). But the good part is even after passing out college will contact you for placement sometimes.
