It is a decent college with a slightly outdated syllabus and some good teachers.

Placements: I did not opt for placements, but an average number of our batchmates got placed. Top recruiting companies were D.E. Shaw, TCS, etc.

Placements for our course are not good., but good teaching faculty members are there.

Placements: Hardly students can see our B.Sc i.e PCM, and friends are placed in any placements of companies that come to our college. Companies and industries do come to our college for placements, but they prefer students from different courses other than PCM B.Sc. but I have seen our batchmates doing some internships programs also.

The college has good infrastructure and connectivity.

Placements: The college has a placement cell, but the number of opportunities is less. For internships, the students are added to groups and informed about internships. Most of the internships offered were for business development etc. A few MNCs also offered internships.

You can join Joseph's if you have no other option.

Placements: There is a placement cell in the college which is supervised by our PRO. There have been quite a few companies coming for placements. There are internship opportunities for Arts and Commerce students but not as many for the Science students. Same goes with the placements as well.

Overall, we had a good experience, not only in academics, but also in life skills.

Placements: There were no placements for undergraduates, but almost all the students go for further studies. Only one student opted a job after graduation. Similarly, there were no internship programs for the students. The large size of the college makes such activities slightly challenging.

St. Joseph's arts and science college is one of the top colleges in Bangalore. The college is best in the means of campus life and the students. It also polishes the students to handle pressure and criticism. Every student faces challenging activities right from the exams to extra-curricular activities. Campus recruitment was not provided for BVC (Bachelor of Visual Communication) whereas other courses had campus recruitment. The college premises always has some or the other activities taking pl...

Good infrastructure and faculty!

Placements: I don't think the placement cell does any work, at least in the undergraduate block. For undergrads, I don't think even the internship cell works. We need to really work hard to get internships by ourselves. Anyway, it's a great experience when it comes to college life.

Our college is great for art courses.

Placements: SJC is an arts' college, but before it was a science or commerce college. Our college just started the BBA programme recently in the previous year, so I am not so sure about commerce placements, but when it comes to arts placements are pretty successful.

The college provides great learning opportunities for students.

Placements: Hardly 5% of students in our course got placed. Our college did not provide placements in 2016, but most of us are interested in them. The highest salary offered was Rs. 50,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 35,000 per month. The average salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month. Companies like SAP and Google visited our campus for placements. Roles like IT administration and Server engineers are offered to the students. St Joseph's College Bengaluru.

Placements: A few students from the non-professional courses did get placed in the IT sector. But their package wasn't as high as what it would have been if it was a professional course. Very few students opt for placements. Students did pursue internships outside college. Many of them did well in them. Some of them even went to Disney Land.
