Good environment to study.
Placements: They are providing and allowing us to do internships. Teachers really help us and encourage us to do internships. It's not necessary to do internships in the core subjects that we study. We can do internships as per our interest. The opportunity for placements is less.
Infrastructure: They do provide all facilities like Wi-Fi and projectors in the classroom. The library provides a good atmosphere to study and read. The college always checks the quality of the food that is provided in the mess and canteen and in the cafe also. Overall, the facilities of the college are really good.
Faculty: Teachers of the sociology department are really helpful and qualified. They teach everything with real-life experience, which helps us to understand the concepts very well in a simple, easy way. The curriculum in our college is relevant and enhances our ability to think differently. This subject will help us to be good humans.

B.A. in French - Batch of 2025
1.8

Good faculty, not many chances for placements, fine infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Hello, I'm a student of batch 2022-25 B.A. French at St. Teresa's College, Ernakulam. To be honest, just by gaining a degree in French, you wouldn't be able to achieve many jobs. It's the reality. It's really good to know the language, as it helps boost your career. If you're working for an MNC, it's good to know the language, but you don't need a bachelor's in French to learn the language. You'll really learn a lot more of the language if you spend way less than half of the amount and time you spend on this course. But it's a good experience overall if you are doing the program for the sake of just having a degree. French tutors are highly in demand so you could pursue a Masters and get into colleges for an average salary of 3.5 LPA (INR). Or else, right after the bachelors, you also have the option to pursue a B.Ed. and get into schools. You can expect around 2.5–3 LPA in this case. You can also start a tuition program to teach French and charge per hour. But if that's your motive, then I'd highly recommend learning the language from a reputable language learning institution (that way you can save so much money and time).
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is okay or fine. The classrooms have smart boards with projectors. You will have access to free, unlimited Wi-Fi. And there are a plethora of books in the library related to French literature and culture. The college hostel is not good. I think the majority of the students are very disappointed with the hostel service this college provides. The food quality is okay (not every time, though). The college has immediate medical accessibility. The college supports and encourages their students very much to actively participate in sports and all the other extracurricular activities. Being a Teresian is indeed like a celebration of their days there.
Faculty: The teachers are helping. I could see good qualifications among all the faculty members. There is a native French speaker from France in the faculty and it is a great opportunity for the students as it helps them absorb the slang and pronunciations in a better way. The course curriculum is relevant, yes, but I think it would be better if they concentrated a bit more on developing the French linguistic skills of students. The exams are not that hard. It really helps if you are systematic. But if you lag behind, then it's going to be hugely difficult for you. I'm not quite sure if the pass percentage is 28 or 35 but I'm pretty sure that it's one of these.
Other: The main highlight of the program is that you will have a trip to France in your third year!
The cost of it is one lac per student; it may increase in the upcoming years. There is an event called 'French Fest' that happens every year. The final year of the program has to conduct the event and they have marks for it as well. It is basically an inter-school or college competition where you showcase all your talents that are either related to France or the French culture. You can experience various French delicacies as well.

College is really fun.
Placements: It depends solely on the course you are studying. Many companies do recruit students with average to high package depending on your skillset. For economics, the college guides the internship process but the rate is around 40%, but the experience you get inside the college is just wow.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi facilities available. The college is not that big but it got sufficient things. The library is so big. There is a cafeteria coffee shop and an ice cream parlor inside the campus. The food is good, especially the coffee. There is no nursing room or a college ground.
Faculty: The faculty is top tier and experienced. The exams are up-to-date and the teachers prepare well for the classes. Knowledge you get from them is just unmatchable. The curriculum is good for my course and it makes us industry ready. The pass percentage is above 75%.
Other: I chose this course because of the curriculum and it got complimentary subjects as Maths and logic. Our college is know for a number of events.

I am very satisfied with this college.
Placements: There are no placements in this course. They will provide us with internships which are mandatory in the third semester. Sessions on career guidance are provided for a better future.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure looks fine with the arts and central block. The science block looks old. Canteens are good. Free Wi-Fi is available. Smart classrooms are available. It also provides a huge library. All types of food items and snacks are available at affordable prices. The campus view is average. Hostels are average, and the food quality is not good. Hostel rooms are very congested.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. They are very supportive in terms of academic and non-academic activities. The teaching quality is better. They make sure that all girls should be independent and strong. They are very positive. Semester exams are hard as it is an autonomous college. Teachers are well-experienced and helpful.
Other: Fests are excellent in this college. Many celebrities visit our college for entertainment purposes like movie promos, bands, TEDx, etc. This is the only college in Kerala that conducts many events.

The college days of this three years were highly satisfied and well-spent.
Placements: The companies like TCS, Wipro, Concentrix, etc. have come together with the placement cell in St.Teresa's college. Overall, the placement opportunities are abundant. The various types of industries have come, and they are making it easier for the students of all the streams to try their luck. The majority of the students got placed accordingly.
Infrastructure: The medical facilities, sports rooms, the hostel for students and faculty, canteens, gym are present on the campus. The classrooms are well-furnished and are provided with the modern facilities like a projector along with a white screen, as well as a big blackboard. The hostels have the large dining halls and are well-equipped with a clean kitchen. The Wi-Fi facility is provided in the hostels. The computer labs are present on the college for the use of the students. The facilities like printing, photostat are available inside for the easy use of the students. The library is filled with the books ranging in all the subjects.
Faculty: The faculty members use both practical and theoretical means of teaching. They are friendly and helpful to your needs. The teachers are well-studied and knowledgeable about the happenings of the world and are always ready to share it with the students. The course curriculum is maintained in a progressive manner, including activities and internships so that the students learn it from experience.
Other: Many extracurricular activities occur in the college. Each year, the sports meet are held. Each department holds their various fests throughout the year, which the other students can enjoy as well. Teresian Week is the main event, which is a 3-4 day's long event of activities involving dance competitions, fashion shows, etc. between each year of the students.

Review of St Teresa's College.
Placements: Almost 50% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. The average salary offered was Rs.40,000 per month. For history honors students, teaching or other jobs are offered. If they study well by themselves, they can grab good salary packages. Relax your mind, invest your money in studies, and it will be doubled.
Infrastructure: The facilities and other infrastructure are good. Overall, it is good. All the facilites like the mess, labs, and classrooms are also available.
Faculty: Teachers of our college are the best in everything. They are full of knowledge and energy. The exam depends on the students. If any students do not study well, they will say it is hard. If someone tries and gives their best, it is easy.
Other: The fee was still high but our college was good. Teachers and college staff members also help you in every need. One is bad. Every student will help you reach your goal.
