Really a good college with all the facilities.
Placements: Now, the placements are from finance-related institutions, and 50% of the students were placed. Still, not many students were engaged in internships. More career guidance classes are provided by our college with the help of some organizations and foundations.
Infrastructure: Except for the canteen, other infrastructure is too good, and cleanliness is maintained everywhere. But there is no bus facility in our college. Except for that, everything was okay. Hostel facilities were not provided, and the library is well-maintained. Also, importance is given to sports, which are encouraged.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified, and the way they teach is superb. They take care of each student and help them gain knowledge in all sectors and subjects. Actually, the teachers are preparing students for a better environment, and the course is relevant.
Other: I wanted to know more about finance, which made me choose this course. Our college conducts many events, and that helps bring out the talents of every student.

Good and decent and fun.
Placements: They conduct placement events every final year, I have seen lots of my seniors get placed, and for others, 1st and 2nd years approach internships in different platforms like Media, Editing, Sound, Videography, etc. It seems like it is useful to the students, everything was chosen by you, they just show the way.
Infrastructure: They usually do not provide any hostel facility because it’s a college, not a university, and the infrastructure was good and decent, but the canteen would not meet your expectations. They only provide basic dishes like idly, and sambar, and the prices. They don’t even sell snacks.
Faculty: The staff at our institution is truly exceptional. With their vast experience and expertise, they provide top-notch guidance and support to the students. What's more, they are extremely supportive and encouraging, creating a positive and motivating environment.
Other: The events and other celebrations were always quite good and great in this college. At this time, the staff became like students' vibe.

B.Sc. in Psychology - Batch of 2024

The infrastructure is good and faculty members are friendly.
Placements: In my course B.Sc. psychology, all percentages of students got placed. The fee for B.Sc. mathematics is Rs. 27,000 for one semester. The fee for a BA in English is Rs. 14,000 for one semester. The fee for a BA is Rs. 22,000 for one semester. PGT Psychology Chennai, MOP Vishanav College for Women, and Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute visit the college. My course students are doing M.Sc. psychology now. Roles offered are clinical psychologist, counsellor psychologist, social health school, psychotherapist, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average with Wi-Fi for teaching staff only. Labs, classrooms, and a library are good and neat for students. There is no hostel. Bus facilities are not provided by my college. The canteen is the worst. Even a single food item is not worth for money.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. The quality of the teaching is very poor. They just puking what they have learned. They have special skills. Teachers can reach students. The course is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are very easy. It comes under University of Madras. The pass percentage is 40%.

College is helpful for students from middle class family who want to pursue their undergraduation.
Placements: 1. My college concentrates primarily on providing courses such as Bachelor of Commerce. More than half of my college students are placed in my course. 2. About the package, it's all about the student's skill level. The minimum package starts from 2.5 LPA and can range above as much as you can earn. All you need are business and analytical skills. 3. Every company needs an accountant, data analyst, and marketing team. Therefore, we can also apply for top MNCs like Wipro and Infosys (experience is mandatory). 4. Some of my friends got internships at Wheel India, located in Padi, Chennai. 5. Roles include HR (after completing an MBA), Chief Marketing Analyst, Data Analyst, Accountant, etc.
Infrastructure: Speaking of infrastructure, I'll give 2 stars for my college. The canteen is not that spacious and comfortable for having snacks. The library is at an average level, and for the classrooms, they don't provide any digital classes or follow any digital methods for teaching, even in this era! 1. My college doesn't provide any hostel facilities for students. It has two shift timings for students: one is the day shift (8:40 AM – 1:05 PM) and the other is the evening shift (2:00 PM – 6:00 PM). The quality of food in the canteen is below average, so I would recommend avoiding canteen food. The college provides sports facilities such as volleyball, cricket, and football, with courts available.
Faculty: 1. The teachers are qualified but not that good at teaching. That said, this doesn't apply to every teacher; the majority of them are gems and help with our studies. Some of them are even authors of their own books! 2. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant. You just need to gain some skills and undergo some internships for better experience. 3. The college has a 100% pass percentage, and the semester exams are not that hard compared to other departments. We just need to grasp the concepts and stick to them.
Other: Here's the revised text: 1. The primary reason why I chose this course is that I'm really interested in business and accounting, so I'm planning to do my MBA, which will be helpful for my future. 2. It would be good if the college provided a spacious canteen with edible food of good quality. Additionally, they need to transition to a digital way of teaching. 3. Yes! Our college is really famous for events and fests. The main fest of our college is Thomfest, which happens every year. It is an inter-college fest where students from surrounding colleges are invited. There is also another fest named Thom Talenzia, which is only for the students of the college.

Review of St. Thomas College of Arts and Science.
Placements: In the college risk assessment, Celsius students are eligible to participate in interviews with desired companies. Previous recruiters include well-known companies such as Deloitte, JP Morgan, and OYO. Successful candidates typically receive annual salary packages ranging from 1 to 2 LPA on average.
Infrastructure: Our college offers access to both laboratories and a library, but there are no accommodations available for students who live off-campus. The library boasts excellent resources and provides everything necessary for academic success, creating a conducive atmosphere for studying. Despite the presence of a large laboratory facility where 50 students can utilize each computer simultaneously, I personally haven't utilized this resource throughout my three years here.
Faculty: My instructors possessed an excellent command of their subjects and demonstrated a deep understanding of the material they taught. They provided assistance and guidance at every stage of our learning journey. Learning from these teachers has been an incredibly enriching and unforgettable experience.

I am graduating this year; it's been a good college experience and has helped me gain skills.
Placements: There are very few placement opportunities, and they're not related to the course we studied. Some top IT companies came for placements. Internships are very few; very few people can get one in the whole department. Jobs for B.Com students are very few and competitive, so placements are not good at all.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and ambitions are good and breeze. Labs and the library are also kept clean. The canteen is below average because only breakfast items are available, not snacks. Sports are not likely supported in this college because there is no playground.
Faculty: Faculty and teaching are excellent, helpful to build our career and knowledge. It's an NAAC-rated college, so examination structures are good. It's affiliated with Mardas University, so exam difficulty depends on it, but the college maintains strict rules for examinations.
Other: College culture is mostly not entertaining, but joining with friends must be good entertainment.
