One of the cheapest and also best resource colleges in Namma Chennai, the new college.
Placements: Students who scored above 70% and above were placed in my class. We are split into two categories: Aided batch and Self-financing batch. I belong to the Self-financing batch. My college fee per annum is 56k, while the aided fee is 11.7k. At least 10% of the students get good internship courses.
Infrastructure: My classroom is great as well as fully ventilated. The capacity of students who can sit in my class is about 80 students at once. We have smartboards in our classrooms. I am a hostel student. The rooms are ventilated and the hostel mess area is very clean and sanitized. We are an eco-friendly hostel. We have a badminton court set up in our hostel.
Faculty: They have the best professors in our college. I am not sugarcoating, but they are the best professors. Every lesson and class conducted by them is very understandable by all the students. Many notes and resources are provided by the staff for the well-being of the students in our class.
Other: I chose this course because I want to be in corporate life. My course offers the best internships around Tamil Nadu and also in Delhi. They train us in a way we can crack any interview. One thing my course can add on is having a full-year internship instead of a 6-month internship program. The college crowd is very minimal. Cultural events are conducted every year, only during the even semesters.

I am satisfied because it provides good placements, infrastructure, and facilities.
Placements: Nearly 30 students of an academic batch get placed every year.
4150 is a yearly package, but scholarships were given. Mtutur, Zoho, and many more companies visit the campus. Almost 10 students who work hard get internships in companies that need Arabic. Advanced skills are added, and additional course is provided online. Many other tasks are also conducted to get more certificates of skills. The department is very caring, but our hard work is needed.
Infrastructure: We have labs, classrooms, and smart classes. All the facilities are good but I don't know much about the food served in the hostel. I think there is a daily routine. Our department also provides skills in technology base by editing, and also computer wise like for typing a lab is there, and more BBC news options in Arabic to improve.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are all very kind and help us a lot apart from the syllabus. The course curriculum is relevant and all the students are ready for the industry. Our college added additional subjects like employability skills, environment science, English, and others like science, etc., to empower students. Out of 100, the passing marks are 35.
Other: If you work hard a bit, you can gain more.

Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) - Batch of 2026

Moderate placements, lenient staff, importance given to sports.
Placements: 10% of students were placed, with the highest package at 6 LPA, the lowest at 3 LPA, and an average of 3.5 LPA. Accenture is a notable recruiter. Internship support is not strong, but they assist with attendance and permissions for self-sourced internships. Roles vary, including data analyst and frontend developer, based on vacancies.
Infrastructure: semi-digitalized classrooms and lenient staff. Library access is available with an ID card serving as a GATE pass. Hostel food is not bad, with laundry services provided. The college emphasizes sports such as volleyball, football, cricket, and table tennis.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive, fostering a harmonious relationship among students. The course provides basic knowledge of programming languages but may not make students fully industry-ready. As it is an autonomous college, the exam process is not complicated, and success depends on a solid understanding of the topics.

I really loved the program they conducted, like a student induction program.
Placements: Till now, which i git to know about, I was offered 3 to 4 internships through college only, with a paid internship of an amount of 2500, including the registration of a 1099, of which they led us to a learning internship for a period of 9 months and then gave a stipend which starts from 15k to 25k.
Infrastructure: They provided many clubs, like NCC, NSS, Rotaract, and Red Cross. In terms of sports, they encourage all to participate in at least one sport. Our time spent in New College is not wasted. The college staff ensures that we are involved in extracurricular activities so that we can get credits.
Faculty: According to me, leaving some teachers and other faculties is providing the best of the best education system to the system. Though some teachers fail to accommodate with the class and maintain good connection. All the assignments and the projects are assigned on a particular time. Talking about the exams, I personally liked their exam-making system a lot because it gives a comprehensive way of regular exams for the students. In a single semester, there are 2 mid-sems which are held on a gap of a month, each valued around 30 marks for each examination, and after a month, there is an end-semester examination total which makes up 70 marks, adding up both to 100.

The way of teaching and clearing the doubts of the students.
Placements: From the 3rd year, they are open for internships and placements for which they have a separate wing named CDC-Career Development Centre. Many companies like Adobe, Goldman Sachs, etc., visit. The median package is 12 LPA. Around 72% get placement because many opt for higher studies at foreign universities.
Infrastructure: There are many festivals and cultural events held in our college in December, January, February, and March. The campus is very good and neat, and the college always gives importance to sports, other clubs, and most importantly, NCC. The hostel rooms are clean and neat, and they provide beds to each student. The hostel food is very good; they mostly serve a non-veg menu, with one veg menu per week.
Faculty: The faculty members here are very approachable as they reside on the same campus in which you stay and are always ready to help. Ajit Kumar Sir from Maths is very good; he is jolly in nature and makes the subject well understandable. I personally didn’t like our Physics faculty, Binson Babu, because of his accent, and I find it very difficult to understand his teaching. Two exams are held every semester: one mid-sem and one end-sem, along with 2 to 3 quizzes depending on the subject. It is compulsory to maintain a minimum of 75% attendance.

Very much satisfied with the placements at the New College.
Placements: More than 78% of the students got placed last year. This year, the companies started to come for placements and recruited over 40% of the students in my batch. The top recruiting companies are Deloitte, Tata Group, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, ONGC, Coal India, etc. The top roles offered were management trainee, company trainee, investment relations officer, legal assistant, and internal auditor. The highest salary offered was 13 LPA, the average salary offered was 4–7 LPA, and the lowest salary offered was 3 LPA. Only 30% of the students got internships at Tata Group and Deloitte.
Infrastructure: The college has a Wi-Fi zone in some areas of the campus, and the college does not have proper labs, but for the name of the game, there are a few labs in the college. The college also has a library. The hostel is quite good compared to other facilities in the college, and the food is also average, which will taste good. The college also has certain medical facilities, but mostly they will take us to the nearby hospital. The college has many sports and games conducted throughout the year.
Faculty: The teachers are very friendly and highly qualified. The teacher teaches the students logically, which will be useful for the students to gain knowledge. The curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are not so tough, but if you do not study, then it will be hard to pass the exam. The minimum pass percentage is 35% of the total mark.
