It was the worst experience.

Placements: Placement is very bad in this college. Firstly, they do not allow joining an internship. The so-called placement cell is also composed of one incapable person who has zero industry connections who will always misguide you (it is better if you do the opposite thing of what he will suggest you to do). They always stick to two or three (CTS, Mindtree, Infosys, etc.) companies for the placement of maximum students, and inevitably for the batch of 2024, it was a disaster. As the market was not so muc...

Absolutely Disgusting Experience.

Placements: Only 8 students are placed in ECE out of 63 students till now. The highest package is 5.5LPA and the lowest is 3.5LPA. P360 has recruited 5 students and Incture has taken only 1 from ECE and some 2 students have got job from offcampus. I don't have any idea about the roles they got. None got internship from our department.

Review of St. Thomas' College of Engineering and Technology - STCET.

Placements: Most good placements were achieved off-campus. The college offers placements with 3.6 to 4 LPA. One or two companies offer 5.5 LPA. They offer hardly 20 jobs in total. Most of these are from CSE and IT departments. But most people get placed as long as they meet the necessary criteria to apply.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with this college. You get a job, and it is only the best thing.

Placements: The placements are decent here, and all service-based companies visit here. Product-based companies don't visit here. The highest salary package offered was around 8 LPA, but only a few students got that. Most of the students got a salary package of nearly about 4 LPA. We don't get internships here. Most of the students get jobs that are in accordance with how the teachers are in college.

Review of St. Thomas' College of Engineering and Technology - STCET.

Placements: About 70% of the students from our course got placed, and about 10% of the students get placed off-campus. The highest salary package offered is 9 LPA by Infosys to one student for the role of a power programmer. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.6 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Cognizant and Infosys visit our campus for placements. Our college does not provide an internship. The top role offered was a power programmer in Infosys and ass...

I am dissatisfied with teachers, and infrastructure is not up to par for an engineering college.

Placements: Placements in our college are pretty good. In the year 2018-19, out of 74 students in CSE, 54 got placed from college. The salary package offer ranges from 3.4 LPA to 8 LPA. Most of the students got placed in a range of 3.4 LPA to 4.5 LPA. Only 1 student got the highest salary package of 8 LPA. Infosys, Cognizant and Wipro are mass recruiters of our college. Overall, the whole placement scenario is satisfying, and the only reason to join this college.

The worst four years I could ever live.

Placements: I did not get any placement from the college. In our batch, 100 out of 240 students were placed in at least one company out of the two mass recruiting companies. There is no placement cell in the college, and it is one of the worst colleges.

Campus life of St. Thomas' engineering college.

Placements: About 70% of students were placed in my batch. The total was 176 on-campus offers. The highest was 9 Lacs Per Annum, the average was 4 Lacs Per Annum and the lowest was 3.6 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies for many years are Cognizant and Infosys. The college doesn't allow internships. The top roles offered were power programmers from Infosys and associates from cognizant.

St. Thomas, a college that ruins lives.

Placements: Placements are horrible for the Electrical Engineering Department. Hardly 20 people get placed till the end of the course. Placements for computer Science and IT are respectably good. Electronics dosent disappoint much. Only 2 companies visit the campus, infosys and cognizant. They recruit in bulk. Itc infotech takes 2 or 3 students a year. No core companies visit the campus. You cannot sit for TCS campus drives else you will be debarred from campus placements. This is because the director of th...
