Overview of my college experience.

Placements: English courses have placements, but primarily in BPO and call centre jobs. Some students are placed in Flipkart and Amazon as seller support associate. The work-from-home package is 3.7 LPA. That is good but majority of students get placed in Eclex, third-party finance BPO, Jio customer, etc. There salary is around 20,000 monthly. Internships are not available but you can do research in English literature with us.

Infrastructure: On campus, there are fests throughout the year. All the departments and societies have individuals in them. The library is vastly filled with books in all disciplines. The library is open during college holidays. 9 to 6 is the timing. NSS and sports candidates get special credit and extra marks in subjects. The college hostel is about a 15-minute walk from campus. In rooms, they provide individual beds and study tables, along with self-sharing with all roommates. The warden is very strict; we have a study room in the hostel that is open 24/7. A laundry man comes in every week to collect clothes. There are no washing machines in the college hostel, which they should arrange.

Faculty: For the English department, the faculty is very well versed in there craft. Very professional and they own up to it. They are pretty approachable and always guide us. The course major paper is in literature and the minor papers are on social, environmental, and film studies. Along with two multi-disciplinary subjects, students get the choice to select one. English course keeps you always busy. It is not tough but it is not easy for everybody.

Other: I wish these things needed to be better 1) 75% compulsory attendance 2) strictness; 3) study pressure on students.

Placements: Many of our seniors are getting positions in many companies. Many of them prepared them for the position of teacher. They were placed in several calling centers, including Flipkart and Amazon. Their highest and lowest packages are 2.5 LPA and 1.9 LPA. Internship programs are available in our university.

Infrastructure: Here, wi-fi connections are available. Other classrooms and labs are available here. A variety of books are available in our university library. Hostel and mess are available. Canteen foods are good but expensive. Some indoor games are available for our entertainment.

Faculty: Our university teachers are very helpful, very qualified and knowledgeable. They are all very strict. The teaching processes are a little bit of hard but okay. Our semester exams are really hard. But don't be wary; our teachers are always here for us.

Faculty: Teachers are always reachable; every faculty member has vast experience in this field, and along with it, everyone has articles published in reputed journals. The college is nice but a bit costly.

Placements: The placements offered in humanity courses are very rare, to none. But, if you are pursuing professional courses like mass communication or biotechnology. Many companies that came to our college for placements are Tata, Byjus, Adani, etc.

Infrastructure: The hostel in our college is too expensive. But if you can afford the fees and food expenses, then it is good. You will have nice food and other extra-curricular activities in the hostel life. There is no compromise on the quality of food.

Faculty: Our college has nice faculty members. Everything is at the standard level. They are good, experienced teachers. The teachers are very friendly to the students and they are available anytime for you. They also give you personal time. Overall, all the faculty members are very good.

Other: Our college has a good environment for studying. We have a nice infrastructure. Good, but good things come with a price.
