Review of St. Xavier's College.

Placements: In St. Xavier's Autonomous College, Mumbai, placements are usually held for the students of economics, BMM and BMS. Only 3% of the students got placed, requiring their GPA to be above 3-3.5 out of 4. The salary package offered to them was 6-7 LPA, and the companies that visit are mostly MNCs from Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai and Bangalore.

Review of St. Xavier's College.

Placements: There is a placement cell in our college. Many students get placed every year. I also applied for campus placements. Many companies visit the college to offer placements. Around 80-90% of the students were placed last year. All the students are placed well at high positions in good companies.

Absolutely satisfied with the level of exposure that I'm getting as a Xavierite.

Placements: There is a placement cell at St. Xavier's College, it is very effective, every year more than 50 companies come for recruitment some of them are infosys, teach for india, yes bank, axis bank, citi bank etc. These companies provide job in various sectors such as marketing, HR, analytics. Second year students can register for internship during breaks, college help them to intern with companies like Airtel, Hindustan Times, Hindustan Uniliver, RBI, network 18 and many more. The stipend varies from ...

At last I just want to say, "Truly it's not just a college, it's a way of life.

Placements: I was enrolled in the B.Sc. Physics course at the Xavier's, and yes of course there is a placement cell in my college where any and all information regarding placements is given to all interested students. Companies like Google, Mu sigma etc. Came in front of me to hire candidates at Xavier's (each company has their different rule for the selection of student). Along with the rigorous curriculum of Xavier's one has to take self preparations for preparation too. 3-4 seniors of mine got placemen...

The college is autonomous and heritage. It is the best college.

Placements: MNC companies like Ernst & Young, Wipro offer placements to more than 50% of the students. The highest salary offered was Rs. 1 lakh per month and the lowest was being Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 30,000 per month. B.Sc (IT), BMM and economics students are provided with placements. There is a placements cell to regulate all placements.

It is more than a college.

Placements: The college offers good placements. Basically, it depends upon the course that you are pursuing. Overall, the placements are very good. You will also get the internship, where you will be paid a good internship stipend, a minimum of Rs. 6,000. It is one of the top colleges, so you will be on safe side.

St. Xaviers- not just a college a way of life!

Placements: Internship is encouraged by the college to be done and there is a credit which is given in the marksheet on successful completion. However the student is required to find a place for internship on his own. The college has a placement cell to which a student is required to register by paying a fee depending on the students year. The placement cell has many seminars and contacts companies to visit the college. Companies like Tata Consultancy, CyberTech visit the college.

It's not just a college, it's a way of life.

Placements: We have the a special placement cell in our college, which helps students find out relevant jobs according to their field of interest. Third year students can register for the placements and the placement cells helps them with all the details of the companies and organised campus recruitment programme for them. They regularly send emails regarding the placements according to the students preferences. Companies like EY and Accenture have come to our campus before.

Really good exposure in an overall condition.

Placements: The college placement cell goes a long way in bringing big and small companies with hefty packages along with all the streams. In my senior batch, they got placed into MNCs like Delloite, Bayn, Zelingo, etc. The salary packages varied from 6 lacs per annum to 15 lacs per annum. In B.Sc. statistics batch, around 40% of the students got placed.

It provides opportunities which are helpful to us in the future and helps to build our personality.

Placements: The placements of our college are really good. All most all the students get a placement from the companies they want and the salaries of them vary from Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 20,000 depends on the course that you are in and the company that you get. Almost all the big firms come to Xavier's to choose the candidates. There is a placement cell which is also quite useful.

It's not a college, but a way of life.

Placements: The placements from my batch have really been good. Most of the students from my senior batch are working. Few students have pursued higher education. Life science department provides a great opportunity for students to nurture skills to work in the various fields related to science.

It is an amazing college. Good faculty, satisfied teaching and superb infrastructure are present.

Placements: No major companies are coming for placement, but you can get a job through the help of professors or else you can apply directly to the companies according to the vacancy. The college mainly focuses more on competitive exam rather than placement (I am talking about my course, but other courses have placements).

It is the best college in India.

Placements: There are good placements in this college. All the companies come to my college, and 99% students are selected in the campus selection in my college. The minimum salary of Rs. 50,000 per month is offered, and the highest salary of Rs. 2,00,000 lakhs per month is offered. The best companies come to my college to select the students. The student quality is much better in the previous year.

It is not just a college but a way of life.

Placements: St. Xavier's college has the best placements in the city. Some of the companies that recruit via campus include GSK, Mckinsey, Mahindra & Mahindra, Mu Sigma, Axis Bank etc. The placement cell is very corporative & active in helping students select the recruiters that best suit their profile.

A place that is the best at most, and the worst at none.

Placements: The brand name of the college brings many prestigious companies for placement, like Ernst and Young, McKinsey, Citi Bank etc. Many startups showed interest as well. Being from the statistics background, roles like a market analyst, data scientist etc. were offered to my batch. Almost 40% of my class is working in the corporate sector currently. The highest package being 11 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. Economics and statistics department of the college have excellent placements. The college doe...

The reason to choose Xaveir's college. Everything I'm looking for and more.

Placements: We had numerous companies from the different streams at our disposal, McKinsey, Bain, Cactus to GlaxoSmithKline for pharmaceutical, etc. Some of the companies had requirements only for B.Sc.. or only eco students, etc., Whereas the rest had tests and interview rounds open for all. Every year the number of companies and lines to choose only grow. Though they usually avoid telling you the salary until you get an affirmation of the job, the highest when I had applied was 8 LPA to the lowest being 4...

Xaviers is not just a college, it is a way of life.

Placements: Xavier's is a place to lead a way of life. Even though it is an undergraduate college, it offers a great placement prospects. The kind of multinational companies which comes to this campus can give business schools a run for their money. It has various courses and placements differ accordingly. Being an undergraduate college, not many people opt for placements, but whoever opt for it for the ample of opportunity to work with their dream recruiter.

Best institute for an overall development of the student.

Placements: For a degree in Political science, placements are unheard. Most of the students move on to higher studies with around 80% of the students attempting for UPSC exams. So placement is not exactly what any BA in Political science graduate expects here. The placements were for the Economics graduates only when it came to BA subjects. The maximum package offered would go up to Rs. 30000 per month.

Absolutely satisfied with faculty. Average placements.

Placements: Placements were good in economics and statistics but placements weren't that great for mass media and were not 100 percent. The highest was 10 lakhs offered by Citibank and the lowest around 3 lakhs. E&Y also came. The internship was compulsory but we need to find it on our own.
