This college is a good choice as HBTI is renowned. It is a top MBA college in UP.

Placements: Our college offers MBA/PGDM in different domains with dual specialisation. It is an average college in terms of placements. Top recruiting companies here were ITC, Airtel, Writer Corporation and Jaro Education. Basically, they place students in the marketing area. The remaining students struggle to find jobs on their own.

There is good placement in STEP-HBTI with highly educated faculty.

Placements: There is good placement in STEP-HBTI. The highest package of batch 2020 is around 10-12 L/annum. Companies like Just Dial, IndiaMart, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, OYO, ITC limited and other big companies visit for placements. For Internship programme, there are many companies who visit college. In my batch, almost everyone got Internship from the college itself. I will give placement 8 out of 10.

Average placements. Needs a lot of improvement in infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: Almost 95% of people get placements, the average package is 2.5 Lacs and the highest is 6.5 Lacs. The companies which come to the college are mostly of marketing and that's why every student is given marketing as a specialisation. The college's placement facility is an average one.

Review of STEP- Harcourt Butler Technological Institute (STEP-HBTI).

Placements: Placements in our college are very good. The brand value of HBTI is sufficient for students to get placed. Our seniors have secured good jobs. Overall, this is a college where you get a decent package. Considering Kanpur, this is the best. All the banking firms and leading companies like ICICI visit for placements.

It is an average college. I am not satisfied because of its infrastructure.

Placements: The college has a placement cell, which is very supportive to students. I am in the first year, so I have not appeared for any interview, but I have seen the placements of our seniors. No company visited the campus this year, but the pool campus drives are conducted. Most of our seniors got placed. The average salary package offered was around 4 to 5 LPA. We have done our summer internships for which companies visited the campus and selected the students. So overall, the placements in this colle...

The college is in adverse condition in terms of placement and personality development of students.

Placements: Placements in our college were very poor. All students of the previous batch got placed through pool campus drives, and the same happened with our batch too. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the lowest package was 3 LPA. All the jobs were of sales profile and a few offers were provided for finance students. No offers were provided for HR and Operation students.

Everything in the college is good for me.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. It depends on the student's potential. If a student has good potential, then he will definitely get placed. Placements don't depend on college. It can only invite companies to the college, and the rest depends on your performance. Overall, the placements are good.

I am absolutely satisfied. It is an excellent college.

Placements: STEP-HBTI Kanpur follows a cluster system instead of a day system for placements wherein companies are categorised by function/industry/sector instead of salary package offered or brand. The placement process is not oriented towards achieving 100% placements. Its purpose is to provide the best job, but inevitably. The entire batch gets placed every time within three days. Major roles offered are across consulting, financial, and marketing.
