Suryadatta Institute of Management & Mass Communication offers a two-year PGDM course, which is a full-time course approved by AICTE. This course is offered across a total of two specialisations. These are Marketing and Finance. At SIMMC, Marketing specialisation is offered with open electives in Finance, while Finance specialisation is offered with open electives in Marketing. Aspirants can get admission to the specialisation of their choice by qualifying entrance exams such as CAT/ CMAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ GMAT with a valid a valid score, followed by GD/PI round.

One of the criteria mentioned for admissions is the cut off marks of exams such as MH- CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test)/ CAT/ CMAT/ XAT. All of these are national level entrance test exams for admissions to different courses (specially management courses). The MAH MBA CET 2025 exam date announcement was done on November 27, 2024 The Maharashtra State CET Cell announced the exam date on its official website mahacet.org. The exam dates were announced as March 17, 18 and 19, 2025. But the dates have been revised as April 1, 2 and 3, 2025.

There will be six sessions. Two sessions per day. In 2024, the MAH CET exam was conducted on March 9, 10 and 11, 2024.

The exam slot and session will be allotted to candidates by the examination body and no changes will be allowed.

Students who fulfill basic eligibility requirements and have appeared for or are planning to appear for the entrance tests (MH- CET/ CMAT/ CAT/ XAT) are eligible to apply for MBA at SIMMC (Suryadatta Institute of Management and Mass Communication), Pune. There are 180 seats on which admissions are done based on the previous qualifying exam score, entrance test score as well as the performance in the Group Discussion and Personal Interview round. The minimum percentage required by a candidate in XAT depends on the current year’s students’ performance. However, for the past years, the XAT cutoff has remained above 80% and has been increasing every year.
