SKIT Jaipur - A college you can opt in the Pink City.

Placements: Placements at this college are average, as you can avail of a package worth 4-6 lacs per annum. If I talk about my department, which is civil engineering, there are not many companies coming for campus drives. Civil placements are very decent; you can get a package around 3–4 LPA. If about CS and IT branches, you can get around 5-7 LPA.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average it's a 13-acre campus that has three blocks and an academic block. A special insight is that the construction of a new block has been started, which will be a 12- to 14-story building. The campus is Wi-Fi-enabled. Integrated grounds are for football and cricket, a basketball court, three indoor badminton courts, a gym, and two volleyball courts.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members are either Ph.D. holders or M.Tech at IITs and NITs. The faculty is decent. The curriculum is the same as that of any other college affiliated with Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), Kotak. 4 years divided into 8 semesters, with two midterms and an end term in each semester. There is also industrial training in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th years.

Our college has good teachers and infrastructure.

Placements: Around 15% of students got placed in our college. Regional companies visit our college our recruit students. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Our college provides average placement opportunities for the civil branch. All students are trying for government jobs.

Infrastructure: Our college provides us with all facilities. The Wi-Fi facility is not good. The canteen is good. The food served in the canteen is affordable. Labs are not much good. The sports culture is good.

Faculty: Our teachers are good, friendly, helpful, and well-experienced. The teaching quality is good. Exams are conducted in our college. The course curriculum doesn't make students industry-ready. It is based on GATE exam. Many students pass the exams. Around 2-3 students get backlogs.

Other: Many events are held in our college with different colleges.

Review of Swami Keshvanand Institute of Technology Management and Gramothan, Jaipur.

Placements: The placement stats are decent and not very good. Companies visit campus but offer very low packages, and brilliant students also get very low pay. For particular civil branches, mostly people opt for higher studies and prepare for government jobs. Companies like JK Enterprise offer supervisory roles for placement purposes.

Infrastructure: The civil block is not so well maintained but is average and the labs are good and well equipped. The library is well furnished. The campus and all buildings are well equipped with WiFi facilities. The class size is good and with proper lights. According to my hosteler friends, the mess food is not very good and also tastes bad. Hostel rooms are good.

Faculty: The faculty is good and very attentive towards the students. The exams are of moderate level and can be cleared easily with a regular study of a few weeks. A total of 2 midterms and one end-term paper are to be given for one semester. A minimum of 36 percent is the passing percentage. The study is not very relevant and more new and latest concepts could be introduced.

Other: I chose this course because I like industrial visits. I would like to improve the course curriculum and increase industrial visits. There are events like ICI Fest, which includes sports, games and cultural activities.

It is a very good college with quality people that supports sports and education.

Placements: The average salary package of our college is 8 LPA for the CS branch and the highest salary package is 41 LPA. Our college studies are good and the college is concerned about the studies of every student. They must engage in other activities and the salary package is available for every student

Infrastructure: Library is very good and spacious. Every block is provided with Wi-Fi. Around 500 MB of data is given to every student every day. Hostel rooms are quite good. Life is amazing on campus. Our college is good. You can bunk classes and go to the library for work.

Faculty: Teachers of our college are so helpful. They help students in various ways. They help with studies and provide us with good resources. They help in some other ways like building our mentality and making us ready for placements. They encourage us to fight.

My thoughts and views of SKIT.

Placements: Major students are placed from the CE section. The highest package offered in this course is around 15LPA. The average package of this college is 5LPA. The top campus visiting the college are from the IT sector and they recruit accordingly. The lowest package was that of 4 LPA this year. Local companies as well as MNCs visit the college for recruitments.

Infrastructure: The hostel is average rated. Wi-Fi, labs and library facilities are available in the college. The mess food is not so good and it can be improved. You get 2 vegetables along with roti and dahi. The campus has various sports facilities including volleyball, basketball, football, badminton, tennis, long tennis and many more. The classrooms are average in size and are enough to accommodate 70 students.

Faculty: The teachers are very kind and helping in nature. They give you every kind of knowledge possible. The curriculum is not very relevant to the real world application and can be improved. 2 midterms and one end semester exam are conducted during one semester. The difficulty level is average and they can be cleared by studying a few days before the exams.

Other: The crowd of the campus is not up to the mark. But this can not be changed. Also, the area of the campus is a bit small and we can't do anything about it.
