It rates as the number-1 college in RTU, by the RTU. It is an average college.

Placements: The civil branch was started in 2012 in this college which newer than any other branches offered by the college, and so far only fewer students are placed in the civil branch. No construction company or civil branch related companies come in the placements period. Instead, students get placed in CS and IT firms. The average placement package is Rs. 2.3 lakhs per annum and the highest package this year was Rs. 3.5 lakhs per annum. Students also didn't get many chances to get an internship, as the...

SKIT is not for student genius or a free-minded student.

Placements: The placement of SKIT is good, but not many companies are not going to visit here. The criteria for attending the placements is75%. Not many companies visit here. The main company that comes here is Infosys, and local companies come here who let the students work with them. Most probably the selection of good placement is not very sure, and the students who have less than 75% attendance or debarred are not eligible to participate in the placement. There are no good placements.

SKIT, you can grow with your own mind.

Placements: There are nearly 90% placements offered in computer science and information technology branch but in electrical, electronics and communication, civil and mechanical branch only 20-30% placements were offered in which most of the students placed in IT companies. The average package offered is approximately 3.0 lacs per annum. Most of the students were placed in Cognizant, Infosys, Capgemini, etc. In 2016 Scotronics, Polycab and Genus visited for the electrical engineering students and hired a few...

Another engineering college with the same mentality of job seeking rather than job creating.

Placements: The placements are quite regular. Almost every year, new as well as old companies are here for selecting students. The companies like Infosys and TCS take on the most placements. The package ranges from may be from around to 1.5 LPA to around to 4-5 LPA. This is the average placement order. The package may vary according to a certain individual.

The college is not satisfactory. The placement is average and has bad sports facility.

Placements: The placements here in this college are average because mechanical branch doesn't have any placements as the core companies of mechanical division don't visit in this college. But for other branches like computer science and IT, they have better placements. Companies like Infosys, cognizant visit and the highest package offered was not more than 3 lakhs per annum, but still, many students get placed in this branch, and for other branches the condition isn't that good and satisfying.

Decent college but don't expect a lot.

Placements: Placements are good and we can say 100% placements in my branch through all MNCs. The package offered was not very good but a decent package of 3 -4 lakhs was given. The placement coordinator is very helpful. Infosys, Cognizant, Syntel and TCS all came to our campus. Except IT, we got many core companies which include both local and national. Indian Army visited and took 1 from my batch and 3 from the 2014 batch last year. For the highest package and company, my senior got selected in Facebook g...

Mirror to my college life

Placements: Overall placement in the college is good- about 40 to 60 percent. But most of the companies are for computer science and IT. The training and placement cell is partial, especially the training and placement officer who is biased and favours girls and students who have jack in college by helping them enter them in small companies in Jaipur only. The MNCs that visited the campus in 2017 are CTS, Infosys, Capgemini and a bunch of small companies and startups. The MNCs take 0 to 80 students and ot...

Fine college with good facilities.

Placements: The placement was average and 30%- 40% students got placed. Infosys and Cognizant are the companies which provide the highest number of placements but the salary offered is less than four lakhs. Internships are not offered by the college so you have to do it on your own. Mostly, software companies visit.

Education was good, but not not focused on extra activities.

Placements: Placements were good but not as good as the last batch placements. Some companies provided a very average package and the average package is just about 2-3 lakhs. The main companies were Infosys and Cognizant. These companies placed the very large part of the batch which means, almost 40-50% students got placed in these companies.

Recommended for CS and IT students only.

Placements: Placements here are similar to all other private colleges. Mass Recruitment Company is the main scope for placement. Core company jobs are not available in large numbers. Average package offered is nearly 3 LPA. Internship is done by the students on their own.

The college is good in academics. There are many rules and regulations in this college like 75% of attendance is mandatory otherwise student is not allowed to give exams. I would not recommend this college.

SKIT is considered to be the best private college under Rajasthan Technical University. I suggest going for it only if you belong to the same city and don't want to leave Jaipur. Pros: Better placement as compared to other RTU college. Flourished with campus facilities as per requirements. B.Tech fee is not very high, you have to invest only 1 lac per year, makes it worth of money. Cons: Course structure level is very poor as compared with other colleges. No competitive environment. The facult...

The first thing one is sure to notice when he/she enters the campus of the college is the impressive academic building. However, something about which students often crib is that the campus is small as compared to other b-schools. There is no ground for outdoor activities such as football, forcing students to be content with indulging in indoor sports. The college has comfortable classrooms. The professors at this b-school are strict when it comes to academics and students are permitted late ad...

It’s good enough for IT and CSE students to get through campus placements. The management is strict. The campus is very small. The facilities are not as good as the students joining as fresher’s have an image of college in their minds. Politics is the thing that openly works in SKIT which is not good for the students.

SKIT is a reputed engineering college of Jaipur as it is almost 15 years old. Although the college is good and has a decent placement record as compared to other colleges of Jaipur but college management imposes lots of restrictions, rules and regulation like uniform, college timings, you can’t go out of the college during college hours, attendance problems and a lot more. Talking about mechanical branch of the college, labs of mechanical department in this college are well equipped and has almo...

SKIT one of the best Institute in Rajasthan, at least I used to think so before I joined. The college makes you study like slaves; no support from faculty. If I say first year will be good in terms of academics but later on there are no good faculty for any stream. I joined the college for placement and I got it. So, in the end all what all matters is placement. Just keep you average marks in RTU above 70 percent and you will be placed. Specifically, for CS, IT And EC students. For Mechanical an...

Ever since my graduation, facilities in my college have increased like sports, academics, hostel, etc. Mechanical department seems to have made a good progress in infrastructure. Good State University college but cannot compete with the govt. or Prime private colleges. Though this year has been a successful year in terms of placements of student. Quite a lot of students were placed in all branches except Civil. Very strict management will feel like a corporate office where you don't get enough freedom. But it is a very good college if you would like to study and get placed in some IT company. Placements in other branches do happen but for IT/CS it’s the best college in t...

Good campus for studying and job placement is there for computer science and electronics students but not for mechanical engineering. Don’t go for this college after reading their prospectus which is all fake. No placements. Average campus facilities.
