Swami Vivekananda National Institute of Rehabilitation Training and Research (SVNIRTAR) - Good for BPT?

Yes, SVNIRTAR is a good option for pursuing a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) degree. Here's why:

* Patient exposure: The college offers great patient exposure for practice and learning, which is essential for developing hands-on skills in physiotherapy.
* Experienced faculties: Faculty members are pioneers in physiotherapy education, knowledgeable, and experienced in their respective fields.
* Relevant curriculum: The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready, preparing them for real-world challenges.
* Campus placement: Although campus placement hasn't started yet, most students get placed through recommendations in clinics and hospitals, with an average salary of INR20,000 per month.
* Internship opportunities: Students receive internships, which provide valuable experience and exposure to the industry.
* Facilities: The college has good infrastructure, including digital classrooms, a central library, and a gymnasium.
* Co-curricular activities: Regular cultural and sporting events foster a sense of community among students.
* Scholarship opportunities: Meritorious students can avail scholarships, and top performers are recognised and rewarded.

However, some drawbacks mentioned by students and alumni include:

* Mess facilities: The mess facilities are considered subpar, with limited options and quality issues.
* Limited Wi-Fi availability: Wi-Fi connectivity is not available throughout the campus.

Overall, SVNIRTAR appears to offer a well-rounded physiotherapy programme with adequate resources, experienced faculties, and opportunities for growth and development. While some aspects may require improvement, the benefits seem to outweigh the drawbacks for aspiring physiotherapists.

Good learning opportunities and lot of memories!
Placements: For BPT campus placement has not started till date. But most students get placed by recommendations in clinics and hospitals at an average salary of 20,000 per month. For BOT and BPO the range of salary lies between 20-30,000. For BOT and BPO courses campus placement facilities were organised and around 20-30 percent students got placed in companies like Endolite.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are good with 4 seated rooms. Mess canteen facilities are below average. But the college offers great patient exposure for practice and learning. E-classroom with good seating facilities available. There is a big ground for sports and park for recreation.
Faculty: The facilities are highly knowledgeable and experienced. The course curriculum is a bit outdated but the practical skills acquired in this college will definitely make you industry ready. The courses offered in this college are practical based and the important thing is that we learn to treat our patients well. This is very well taught in this college.
Other: I am a 2022, BPT pass out of SVNIRTAR. I love my college, gathered some great experiences, MET some wonderful people and made amazing memories. The best part of my college life were the events and fests which fostered great memories to my life.
