Absolute value for money in terms of learning and exposure to business world. No placements, though.

Placements: There are no placements provided for this course. But you may get the chance for internal movements within your organisation or make a switch into management role internally or externally. Learning will be great, it just needs your patience and willingness to learn than just getting good grades.

Good infrastructure and faculty. Good placements.

Placements: Placements are good with an average package of Rs. 10 LPA for HR specialization. For MBA finance, the packages are generally higher. The maximum package offered was almost Rs. 19 LPA for a selected few who are offered pre-placement offer after performing well in the summer internship. FMCG companies offer the maximum salary packages. Companies from all the industries visit the campus. Placements are 100% usually every year.

Good placements in 2012, good infrastructure, excellent faculty.

Placements: Placements for the senior batch and our batch were 100%. Highest salary was 19 lakh and the lowest was about 6 lakh for the senior batch, and 22 lakh and 6.5 lakh respectively for my batch. Recruiting companies included HP, Goldman, GSK, JP Morgan, Philips, Mahindra, Kotak, Yes Bank, Dr Reddy, Marico, etc. About 80-85 % students got an internship from the college, and the remaining usually chose out of it themselves.

The college has a great learning environment, well-built infrastructure with Bloomberg lab, SPSS lab, a vast library and proper care has been given to hygiene factors like water, cleanliness, food etc. The faculty here teaches us by quoting real time scenarios and not just confined to the knowledge of books. 2-3 guest lectures are scheduled every week to give proper industrial exposure. Events such as NEEV, the 3rd largest B-school fest happened here. So, the college is helping students to have ...

The college provides great opportunities and an amazing platform to grow and develop your skills. Exposure is great and ROI is good. Faculty is decent. Overall, a good choice if you don't get through top IIM's, XLRI, SP Jain, MDI or TISS. Facilities provided by the college are good. Infrastructure is decent with few issues regarding hostel infrastructure for boys.

SCMHRD is a place where you can survive only if you push so hard to come out from your comfort zone. The harsh reality of the corporate world is realized when you are going through one the most rigorous curriculum among B-schools. A wide variety of subjects from 14 to 18 courses in each semester along with putting your effort in respective committee or clubs, participating in B-School competition at the same time, will prepare you to manage multiple tasks efficiently, a very necessary attribute ...

There is a lot of stress in college because of the number of subjects and the other activities. Not the best administration. But it gives you a lot to learn and the habit of facing long hours of work in the corporate world. The campus is pretty far from the city, but it’s easy to find a cab or an auto. Mess food isn't so good. But there are a lot of places, from where good and cheap food can be ordered. Parking is a problem and it’s important to have a vehicle of your own.

"The college provides you with a brilliant learning opportunity and the cut-throat competition increases your appetite for ambition. I chose this college as I wanted to pursue HR, and till date I didn't ever regret that decision. Having said that, the college needs to improve on a lot of aspects like the infrastructure facilities on the campus are pathetic and even the quality of classroom learning is deteriorating which calls for immediate attention. SCMHRD infrastructure is massive and shares its campus with SCIT. Scmhrd used to be one man army strongly focused on overall student development but not so good at academics, things have moved on since once they shifted to new campus in Hinjewadi and the academics and faculty availability has improved. So has the placements offered. Over the years the profile of the companies visiting and offers has seen a linear growth. There is a strong focus on extracurricular activities aimed at developing s...

It is very rigorous in terms of academics, but infrastructure is a big concern be it the hostels, internet speed. The crowd is good and so is the faculty. Placements have also been above average. Flagship stream is human resources. Overall the experience of MBA is very much ultimate and helps the students to learn a lot.

SCMHRD is famous for the HR specialization. Compared to other B-schools the fees here is on the lower side. Lower batch strength and brand name of Symbiosis add to its flavor. Placements are really encouraging with great names like L’Oréal, CBC, Dabur is frequent visitors. The scenic beauty and calm but enthralling city add to its positive points. Professors in HR and Marketing are really good, and Clubs like e-cell, SHAPATH add to students extra-curricular. Overall, I will give 8/10 for this co...

Hostel facilities are there but rooms are of average size. College mess and cafeteria’s food is horrible. College library need serious up gradation.

But the placements and reputation in corporate world keep up the name of the college. Undoubtedly, flagship course is HR, but Marketing and Finance ar...

Good- the course has immense potential. Infrastructure in India is a trillion dollar opportunity. The bad- 1. The course being new, it is still being experimented with. In this process, a lot of unnecessary things are being taught. Also, it has been structured such that you become a jack of all, master of none. 2. Faculty tie-up is poor. Many a times they end up teaching technical stuff that would have been covered in engineering. 3. The course visibility in industry is extremely low 4. Up until...
