Symbiosis Institute of Digital and Telecom Management (SIDTM), Pune is formerly known as Symbiosis Institute of Telecom Management (SITM) is a constituent of Symbiosis International and deemed to be a University (SIU).

In 2019, the institute was ranked 23^rd among Top Private B-Schools in India and 10^th among Top private B-Schools in West Zone by The Week. Apart from this, the institute was ranked 4^th among Top B-Schools in Pune by The Week in 2019. The institute has a collaboration with IBM Business Analytics Lab for value-added programmes. The institute also offers an exchange programme in collaboration with international universities.

The institute is known for its MBA programme in the field of Marketing, Finance, Management, Analytics and many more. The institute offers admission to Indian as well as international students.

SITM Pune Admission Process 2023: Highlights

SITM Pune admissions are conducted online through the official website of the institute. The admission process begins in August every year. MBA admissions are based on Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP).

SITM Pune MBA Admission 2024

The institute offers a full-time two-year MBA programme in three different specialisations. MBA is spread across four semesters, each year consisting of two semesters. The final merit list of selected candidates will be based on the marks secured in SNAP and the performance in Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT). Name of the specialisations along with the eligibility criteria are mentioned in the table below:

Q: What is the selection process for MBA and what is the minimum CAT score required at Symbiosis Institute of Digital and Telecom Management?

In order to qualify for the selection process of SIDTM (Formerly SITM) the candidate is required to:

Step 1: Appear for Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP), which is scheduled on 15th December.

Step 2: After the SNAP test result is declared, candidates who have applied, registered and paid for SIDTM (Formerly SITM) will be shortlisted and called for GE-PIWAT (Group Exercise, Personal Interview and Writing Ability Test), which will be held in Pune. Note: It is mandatory for a student to apply for SNAP and Register for SIDTM (Formerly SITM) to be shortlisted for SITM (Formerly SITM).

SITM Pune Application Process 2024

SITM Pune application fee is Rs 1,000. Candidates seeking admission to full-time MBA programme need to first register for SNAP followed by, the MBA course. Follow the below-mentioned steps for the complete application process.

Visit the official website of SNAP, www.snaptest.org and apply for SNAP exam
Candidates will receive an OTP on the given mobile number and email id
Enter the OTP and submit the form for SNAP registration
After successful registration, pay an application fee of Rs 1,750 for SNAP exam
Now, register on the institute’s website by entering SNAP id and password
Fill all the asked details and submit the form
Pay an application fee of Rs 1,000 online via debit/ credit cards or net banking

SITM Pune Seat Reservation 2024

The total seat intake of MBA programme is 150 students. Some of the seats are reserved for SC, ST and PwD category candidates. Given below is the category-wise reservation criteria:

SITM Pune Scholarships 2024

The institute offers a merit-based scholarship called, “PG Merit Scholarship”, under all MBA specialisations. Given below are the details regarding this scholarship:

Students who are declared as the topper of the first semester are eligible for this scholarship
A student must have a minimum GPA of 7.50 to apply for this scholarship
In every specialisation, the scholarship will be given to a single candidate who has topped the examination.
The students will be rewarded with 50% of academic fee under this scholarship

Apart from the above scholarship, the institute also offers various scholarships and financial support to the economically weak candidates. Scholarships are offered on merit-basis for Indian and foreign national students. Scholarships given to international students are administrated by the Symbiosis Centre for International Education (SCIE). Name of the scholarships are given below:

Placements: The college placement reports are accurate and audited. We have consulting companies visiting our college. There is the presence of Big 4, and we have other consulting firms too. The college has been consistently growing its placement numbers. This shows how companies trust the college and also the alumni who have a strong attachment to the college.

Infrastructure: The campus is set on a scenic hilltop surrounded by lush greenery, which creates a fresh atmosphere and foster learning. We often find birds that you will not find in cities. The weather is very chilly at night. Our hostel rooms have valley views just like a resort.

Faculty: Faculty members of the college are extremely helpful.
