Updated curriculum and good infrastructure.

Placements: The college has a dedicated team among the students to manage corporate relations and alumni relations. Hence, people in these committees get exposure to contact building while doing an MBA. The average stipend offered in the internship ranges from 14k to 20k.

Almost 100% placements are done.

Placements: The college has a record of placing all the students. But the students who want to start their own business can opt out from placements and the college provides 2.5 lakhs for such student to start their own venture without charging any interest on it. This is a unique facility.

Infrastructure - If we talk about the infrastructure, then the college has its own campus and there are lots of other facilities which are common for SCMHRD, SIIB and SCIT. The hostel is also common for all the three institutes. So our main competition is with SCMHRD. Placements – The placement committee is doing a good job. There are a lot of companies who visited our campus for the first time. The Director is also doing a good job so that each student can get his/her dream job. The package has...

There are certain parameters on which I am writing this review. 1) Entrance exam- Cut off for this college is always between 85 to 90 percent. So it is not that difficult to get an admission. Yes GD and PI round might be challenging sometimes. 2) Faculty- Faculty is average. Some of the faculty members are really good but they are mostly in 3rd and 4th semester. 3) Atmosphere- you will get decent atmosphere for study. You have two options here. If you really want to study and get some good ex...

This college has a good curriculum and exposure to various industry mentors. The disadvantage is that the faculty are not good. But with the change in director in 2015, we saw a lot of good companies coming in, better packages being offered and international placements as well. This is surely expected to improve even more.

SIIB is one of the best institutes for MBA in the symbiosis family. Faculty is great. Events such as ignisense are filled with fun and learning experiences. International business stream is the best course in the college. Other than this, the college also offers niche courses such as energy and environment and agriculture business. Placements are great. Plenty of opportunities with big industry players along with a few start-ups come to the campus.

SIIB is a mix of academic and extracurricular activities, which provides a great spectrum to students to enhance their skills. The pedagogy involves testing, presentations, assignments, etc. all throughout the year. The placements here are quite promising and provides a great kick start to one's career. The campus life is lively with students from diverse regions, culture and academic streams.

This college is ideal for those who are looking for a career in the banking and NBFC domain. However, the current year has bucked the trend and a few FMCGs, as well as e-commerce firms, have visited the campus and hired our students. The average starting package is also above average at around Rs. 8.5 Lakhs.

The hostel campus, infrastructure is good and the facilities are also fine. The crowd and the location are good. As the hostel campus is shared with two other colleges, it gives us a good platform to interact with other college students. Some faculty members are amazing in the college and some are not. Marketing faculty is just average whereas finance faculty members are very good. The main event conducted in the college is Ignisense. It is organised in a very grand manner and is completely stud...

You are given enough opportunity to be able to achieve what you want. International exposure and courses are very helpful in the open and developing Indian economy. Good mix of students, good campus, and a lot of exposure. Placement scenario is continuously improving year by year. A better mix of companies visits campus as compared to the other colleges.

SIIB has everything that one requires from infrastructure to the facilities in the hostel. The institute has good faculty for finance and supply chain management. Not only the students but the faculty members also put the same amount of effort to prepare the students for the final placements. Every year placements are becoming better. The alumni are present at high positions and we are proud that they also come for the final recruitments. We have a big Alumni meet every year where students inter...

The accommodation is good and the hostel facilities as well. There are a lot of food options available in the campus but the campus’ accommodation is shared among 3 campuses. So, getting permission to organize some institute related events becomes difficult. The college gives importance to the toppers of the semesters and they receive some concession in their fee. There are lot of sports facilities. Being a finance student, I like the faculty which teaches us.

Academics: Courses are little hectic, but new subjects have much to learn. Faculty: with good experience, professors, visiting professors from industries, corporates. Internship: top most and average companies. Hostel: apart from food hostel facility is good. Sometimes they will serve pathetic food. Placements offer decent packages, average companies. Very few leading companies. Wi-Fi connectivity sucks in both college and hostel. Poor connectivity. People from across the country. Fees is a bit ...
