It needs a more positive atmosphere. It has average faculty and facilities.

Placements: As unemployment has increased in our country, so it has had it's effects on placements in colleges as well. For mechanical course, few companies visit our college from the technical field for placements. Mostly software industry companies hire students, and they give 6 months training and then the real job. The average salary offered in this field ranges between 3-4 LPA.

It is a decent college with a good reputation and high college fee.

Placements: Placements for the mechanical course are comparatively less when compared to other branches. But they are trying to invite more companies. Top recruiting company of our course is Tata, and we can try for government jobs through IES. An internship is compulsory, and every student tries to get an internship with some or other ways. It is the choice of the students to do an internship in any company.

Amazing Campus life, hoping for better placements!

Placements: Placement for CS/IT is comparatively better than other branches. The average pack for computer Science goes upto 6L and companies like Microsoft, Google and Amazon also came into the campus. But I am from E&TC and avg placement for it is 4L but then again you can try off campus if you're cable.

I am satisfied with the syllabus.

Placements: Around 10% of the total eligible students got placed, but not in our respective core branches. The highest salary package offered was around 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. The top recruiters of the college were TCS, IBM, Dell, and L&T. Roles offered were as a junior manager and associate engineer. Everyone who applied got an internship in the mechanical field from companies like Tata Motors, General Motors, and Mercedes.

Amazing campus and worth experience of a lifetime.

Placements: 40% of my batch was placed. The highest salary offer was 12 LPA and the lowest was 3 LPA. Google and Microsoft were among the top recruiting companies. The highest package for my course was 5 LPA. SIT does not get companies for my course but helps in recommendation in core companies.

It is a beautiful campus. It provides efficient learning.

Placements: In the mechanical stream of 2013-17, 150 students out of 600 students got placed. Placements were around 50% in the mechanical stream. In computer science and IT branches, placements were more than 85%. The average salary package offered was around 6 LPA. The significant recruiting companies were Bombardier, Microsoft, Idea etc.

Good college to network with individuals and gain a lot through peer learning.

Placements: Around 60% of the students were placed. The highest salary was close to 10 Lacs offered by Microsoft and the lowest pack was 3.2 Lacs offered by IBM. Only 20% of the students got an internship from college, the rest had to find internships using their own sources.

For internship the average salary offered is about 2 LPA and if you get permanent there then twice atleast your salary get increased. Placement cell is there. Terra drone, airpix, geospoc, Tom, here maps these are companies mostly students GOT hired.

Our college provides good infrastructure and facilities, but the fee structure is high.

Placements: The placement rate of this college is decreasing every year. The college claims a placement rate of about 60% to 65%, but in reality, it barely reaches 50%. Companies coming for the mechanical department are comparatively low, but it is good for other branches. Many good companies visit our college and half of them being MNCs. You can get additional information regarding the companies that visit the campus for placements on the official college website.

The college has good infrastructure, helpful faculty members, and average placements.

Placements: It is a new college; the placement is not that bad. There weren't many companies in the electronics, civil and mechanical domain that visited the campus. Only 40% of the students got placed, and the average salary package offered is around 3.5 LPA. Most of the students were placed from computer science and IT background.

A great college in every aspect.

Placements: To be honest, the placements in our college are average considering all the branches. The highest placement rate is recorded in the computer science branch which is about 90-95% every year despite other branches having about 30-40% placements. All the computer science students were placed successfully last year, while for other branches, the number was reduced to 10-15 out of 60. The highest salary package offered in the year 2016-17 was 9.78 LPA by Microsoft. Many companies like Bombardier, Goo...

My experience in Symbiosis Institute of Technology.

Placements: Placements in SIT are very good. Many good companies like Bombardier, Siemens, and Microsoft, etc., visit to recruit students. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA. I recommend students joining SIT not to have backlogs because it affects your placement opportunities. Teachers are also cooperative during placements.

It provides a good college experience but lacks in management.

Placements: The placements of the college are average. The placements are good only for few branches like CS and IT department. It is average for the rest of the departments. The students get internships based on their present backlogs else almost everyone gets internships. We get high packages once we get placed although getting placed is actually hard work to do. Also, college keeps us too much occupied in things like journals and unnecessary activities. Due to all of these, we find less time for studies,...

The review of Symbiosis Institute of Technology.

Placements: Placements haven't reached our expectations. We are expecting many more placement opportunities for the students of the civil and mechanical departments, but the placements for the students of the CSE and IT departments are quite good. We hope that we will be offered some placement opportunities before completing our B.Tech course. However, overall, the placements are average.

The college with a really good infrastructure and faculty members.

Placements: Overall, the placements of the college are average. If we go branch wise, then CS and IT departments have really good placement opportunities. ETC department has average placement results. The placements for mechanical and civil branches are not at all good for now. From this year, even civil department students are getting an opportunity to get placed in the core companies.

It is a college with good placements and infrastructure.

Placements: CS and IT department have much higher placement opportunities in comparison to civil and mechanical department. Civil and mechanical branch do have placements but not very high. We hope that the scenario will be changed until our graduation. However, the college is putting in efforts for that. Overall placements are good, and we are happy overall.

The place where we can find our future.

Placements: The college provides the best placements for the students of CS and IT department. But placements are a bit problematic for the civil and mechanical engineering students. As I am a civil engineering student, I also need good placement. Let's hope we get good placements in the next two years of our course. Overall, we are happy at SIT. The placement head of the college is doing well.

My words about the excellence of Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Pune.

Placements: Placements are very good for the students of the CS and IT departments. Placements are relatively good for the students of the mechanical department. There are some issues with the civil department, but overall, placements for the civil branch are good. Placement department is also cooperative. The training sessions conducted to train students for placements are very helpful. Professors are very helpful and encourage us.

It's an all-round college.

Placements: Two companies came for placements of the mechanical branch this year, and many more companies came for other branches. Famous companies like Dell and many others come to recruit students, but still, the number of companies coming is very less. Selection process during the campus drives was smooth, but the number of students selected was low.
