Absolutely dissatisfied with the placements.

Placements: Placements are not up to the mark. Only CS and IT students are getting placed. Hardly 10 students are placed in electronics and telecommunications department. The highest package is 6 Lacs which is given by DELL. Even in case of internships college does't help at all. But internship sem was very useful.

Life at SIT. The pros and cons answered.

Placements: Placements are minimal for the electronics dpt as not many companies come for placements, whereas the CS IT department has a top notch rate in placements. The department trains you for aptitude tests, but self learning and early coaching would help better.

I would give A grade to my college because almost every facility has been provided.

Placements: There were a wide range of companies and startups which visited our institute such as value notes, bonfleet, coindelta etc. And also prestigious companies also visited the campus such as Microsoft, Dell, Nvidia. More than 75 percent of students were placed.

Engineering at Symbiosis International (Deemed University).

Placements: Placements are best for CS-IT and ENTC branches. Companies like IBM, DELL, Microsoft, Bombardier, and Capgemini have hired students from our college. Other companies like Direct I, Signzy, TCS, ZS Associates, ValueNotes, Taatvik, Netcracker have also come for placements. For mech and civil students, they mostly get PPO's from their internship companies.

The college is good for studying, but don't make your expectations high because it's symbiosis.

Placements: Well, frankly saying, the placements for a civil branch is a few. The mainstream thing is that about 60% of the students don't want campus placement as they want to study further or do business etc. One thing is for sure if you want to get placed from campus selection in civil department, the placement team will provide you placement, but the salary will not be as per your norms.

Great, enjoyable, and happy experience.

Placements: IT, CS and ENTC are always getting great placements, there are opportunities to fetch for civil, but for mechanical, it's a bit difficult. It has been said that companies are visiting every year. After all, it's completely dependent on the students, and let's see what happens this time.

The placements are low for civil department, but the infrastructure and hostel life are awesome.

Placements: Placements in this college for the students of Civil engineering are almost 0%, as their background is related to construction. Hence they don't need placements by which the placements from our department are declining every year since 2010. Our college also provides us with the internships, so far 50% of the students got the internship, but are not satisfied with it. So, the students are searching internships for themselves.

Life and Lies of a Symbian.

Placements: For our seniors, the placements in electronics and CS were sensational with four recruits each for Dell, Microsoft, and Netcracker. On the mechanical and civil side, the placements were average. The internships this year were amazing with the offers from NVidia, Netcracker, TCS, and the others.

It is really a fantastic college.

Placements: The placement in the college is pretty amazing as told by the seniors. Every year Microsoft and Amazon take a good amount of people. Also, they provide 6-month internship in 6th semester. There are also chances for the global exchange semester. It is really a good opportunity for the people there. Must apply for it.

Symbiosis Institute of Technology.

Placements: The placement cell is good. Overall, all the students were placed in this university. This university is good to study, and the main thing is that all the teachers are too friendly and you can talk about anything. They will always help you and will support in every problem. The atmosphere is too good.

The college has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placements are good for our college. My senior mates got placed for more than 9 LPA, and the average was 4 LPA. Almost 75 percent of the students were placed in the respective companies. Many big companies were present on the placement day. TCS and many MNC’s were present on the day of placement.

Overall, it was a memorable experience at Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Pune.

Placements: The placements were really good for my batch. Most of the students who wanted the placements, got one to they liking. The salary range wasn't very lucrative, but the positions offered were pretty good. There wasn't much opportunity for those who wanted the internships.

Amazing college life and exposure. I'll rate the college as 10/10.

Placements: The placements are good for computer science and IT branch, but when it comes to other branches, it is average and still growing. I hope in few years, and the placement will be good enough for all the branches. 5 lakhs per annum is the average package. The highest was 10 by Microsoft offered to two girls, and when it comes to internships, very few companies come to college, so it's better to find the internship by yourself.

Symbiosis Institute of Technology review

Placements: The amount of companies that have been coming to the campus in the last two to three years is rising at a steady rate. But most of the mechanical engineers get picked by IT companies who give them 6 months training first. Computer science and IT experience a lot of demand from the companies in the respective field. However, branches like civil and E&TC have not been approached often by companies.

Really good infrastructure in Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Pune

Placements: As our branch has a 6 months internship period for all branches, the college does assist in finding internships. Most of the internships are unpaid ones. But there are a couple of internships which pay some stipend to students. Any core company is yet to come for placements this year. 2 non-technical companies have come for campus placements with 3.5-4 lacs as packages. No civil student has been placed in them yet. Last year also, placements were not so great. Most of the students either opted f...

A commendable infrastructure with average faculty and course curriculum, but poor in placements.

Placements: The placements were not good, and also the companies coming for placements were not the core mechanical companies offering analytics and operations job profiles. Until the last month, a very few out of 145 students got the job opportunity, and that too was not a core mechanical job. Though a few companies are visiting the campus for placements, the job profiles and the packages are not up to the mark.

Totally dependent on the students where they want to drive their career.

Placements: The placements are okay, not too good and not too bad. It totally depends on the students how good he is and how ready is he to learn. Opportunities, at my time, were good for CS branch only. To get placed, you had to have knowledge and put in your efforts to learn.

There is everything here.

Placements: The placements are not enough for the mechanical branch but some placements are really fabulous. Even the average students are placed in MRF and are getting up to 8 lakhs/annum. The highest package was 14 lakhs/annum and the lowest was 2.5 lakhs/annum. The average goes around 4 lakhs/annum. About 60% get students get an internship and the other students find the internship on their own.

Worth the money. Worthy placements.

Placements: Sure you do get good placement in this stream too. You will find most of the opportunities in construction section. It is important that you have good score throughout the 4 years of engineering along with good conceptual knowledge. One can work as a consultant in municipalities and government construction.

Good placements and amazing infrastructure.

Placements: 100 percent placements for my batch and even the senior batch. The placements were good. The highest was 9 LPA and lowest was 2.8 LPA. Companies like IBM, Amazon, Microsoft, Pitney Bowes etc. came for placements. System engineer and business analyst roles were offered. 20 percent of students got an internship through college. Mostly, people did not get any stipend.
