You will not regret coming here.

Placements: There are no placements for our course because people rarely go for jobs after B.Sc in Economics. However, an internship is compulsory. Students are allowed to take more than one internship if it is required. There is a placement cell which helps students who need contacts in the industry. Most of the internships are unpaid.

A good choice for Bachelors in Economics.

Placements: There are no placements for the B.Sc. Programme. There is a placement cell, but it is more for the master programme than ours. Those who are interested in placements approach the placement cell as they are in contact with various industry personnel. The internship is compulsory, and they can be both paid and unpaid. The highest stipend was Rs.12000.

A bit satisfied with the infrastructure and facilities that are provided to students.

Placements: Last year, the companies which visited the campus were not much satisfying. The average salary package offered to placed students was too low. Most of my seniors went for off-campus placements. I don't think everybody got placed, and even many were not satisfied with what they got.

Absolutely dissatisfying college campus size, quite qualified and diverse faculty.

Placements: Most of the students pursue higher education. My senior batch of 2015-18 got 2 students placed, which is 1.14% for the B.Sc. Programme. Since placement for B.Sc. Students are not so ideal so most of the students go for higher education in operations, finance, research, MBA, behavioural economics, etc. All the students get an internship because it is mandatory for our course to do at least two internships, one in an NGO and one in a corporate company. The highest stipend offered in my batch of ...

Satisfied with the faculty and course curriculum. Neutral on the infrastructure.

Placements: The placement cell comprises of students as well as teachers and helps in connecting to reputed companies. The internship is part of the course curriculum which internship with a business unit as well as an NGO. Placements for the current year had a very good strength of students getting placed in the companies of their preference.

Overall the degree and course structure is very good.

Placements: The placements were pretty decent. Many think tanks, ngos and reseaech companies came. Also, the salaries were on an average 4+. Companies like Deloitte, Zs associates etc. Came for the placement. People got placed for the profiles of mainly Analyst and researchers.

Great faculty and course, but not a very good campus.

Placements: The placements are average, and the main reason being that is, this course needs a master degree for a decent job. Internships are compulsory, and college helps in finding it. The placement cell even helps with the interview preparations which are helpful for the jobs.

It is located in a prime location, knowledgeable faculty and dissatisfied with infrastructure.

Placements: The college has placements, but considering the course not many students take up placements as they wish to continue with further studies. The college also has a placement cell that is handled by students just like any other college clubs. The placement cell helps the students in a number of different ways to prepare them for their career after graduating. The college invites placements from corporates, NGO and the banking and finance sector. Few of the companies that visited are; Deloitte, ZS A...

The college is up to date with course curriculum from around the world.

Placements: Not such any placement cell is there in the college, however, the college brand is enough to catch decent jobs. Many of my colleagues are taking a break for further studies and the rest got employed in somewhat decent organisations as freshers. They are however starting a placement cell from this year.

I am dissatisfied as it looks good from the outside, but it is not (bad placements are offered).

Placements: The placements for our batch weren't good. They were average. Not too many good companies came to offer the jobs, which was the reason a few people applied for it. The jobs offered were mainly research-oriented, and most of the students don't have interest. The companies came and we were notified about it during our holidays and not everyone could come all the way from home to apply. The average package was 4 lakhs per annum. The packages were as less as 1.5 LPA and as high as 6 LPA. One student...

Three years of disaster at this reputed college.

Placements: The placements from my batch were poor. Only 20% students were placed. The highest salary offered was around 3.2 lacs pa. The top companies that came to the college were ZS Associates, Crisil, etc. Internships were not provided by the college. The student had to arrange their own internships.

Good. Life is good here though hectic at times. The good part about college is that it provides a lot of exposure and great opportunities to move ahead. The course structure is good as it gives a great experience on field and other secondary data research. The city being an educational hub, adds to the academic environment and enriches our knowledge.

Symbiosis, as we all know, is a fusion of strong academic courses along with fun loving extra curriculums. It's amazing to be a part of this institution. The long span of lectures, the early morning guest faculty, the tedious and boring exams, are like the vicious circle of the college. Yet, the practical exposure I get has enriched my knowledge definitely.

Well those who are considering applying to SSE for the Bachelor's course, here's a detailed Pros and Cons of the College:- Pros: 1) The syllabus is a mix bag with varied number of subjects extending across 8 semesters. 2) For extra co-curricular activities opportunities are immense. You can participate in loads of competitions. College really promotes that and the director is very keen on that front. The annual fest is also a great learning experience. 3) Faculty: Few of the permanent facu...

Review of Symbiosis School of Economics, Symbiosis International, Pune.

Placements: We are pursuing our undergraduation, and we will pass out in 2022. Our college has the best faculty with a lot of integrated courses. You get to do 2 important internships in the meantime as well. Ambience wise, Symbiosis is a top pick anytime, and you would love to interact with people around as well. Work hard and you won't need to worry about placements.

Life at SSE: far from home we discovered another home.

Placements: 20% got placed, About the packages, I have no idea. Some of the recruiting companies were ZS associates and Deloitte. Our college didn't have an internship placement. Most of the students wanted to pursue Masters after the Bachelor program and hence many didn't appear for the process.

I am absolutely satisfied with the course offered in our college.

Placements: Around 70% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 17 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA and the average salary package offered is 8 LPA. Tresvista, D.E. Shaw, etc., are the top recruiters of our course, and data analyst, senior research assistant, etc., are the top roles offered in our course. Internships were offered in both government and private sectors, including institutions like E&Y, PwC, Ministry of Finance, etc.
