Placements: The placement of SSE isn't that good. Around 70% of students got on-campus placement. The highest package offer was around 11 LPA and the average is around 4 LPA which is very less in my opinion. Though we have placement cell but placement is not that good.
Placements: The placement cell of our college is very active. Recruiters from different sectors like analytics, financial analysis, banking and finance and market research visit our college for placements. The average salary package offered is 4.96 LPA for the 2018-2019 batch. Some of the recruiters for that year were DE Shaw Associate, Deloitte India, TresVista, etc.
Placements: Only a few companies come for placements. As it is a bachelors course, most of the students opted for further studies without appearing for placements. A few companies were invited for final placements to the college, and some students got placed with a decent salary package.
Placements: Out of a batch of 140, I think about 10% of them got placed through college placements. I do not have knowledge about the salaries offered. The highest package offered was 10L per annum, lowest was 4 LPA and the average package offered was around 5-6L per annum.
Placements: Batch 2017-20, constituting 130 brilliant students from all across the nation, has been known for mental exuberance. Thanks to this many of them have completed their internships at EY, Delloite, HDFC and so on. They have experienced working in the position of analyst or teacher or in the economic offences wing of government body.
Placements: There is no focus on placements for our course as the majority do not opt for it. One internship is compulsory in the industries like in banking, consulting, credit rating companies etc. Another internship should be done in an NGO. Internships are generally unpaid.
Placements: For both my and seniors batch, there are no placements. Most of the students will go for doing Masters. The placement cell, however, helps students to join the industry. An internship is compulsory with the majority of them being unpaid. The maximum stipend that one has got is Rs. 12000.
Placements: The placement cell doesn't focus on the placements of the students. The reason is, very few students opt for placements after B.Sc. in Economics. However, the students who are interested can approach the placement cell and can get the contacts of the industry. Internships are compulsory, and placements cell helps the students for it.
Placements: There are no placements for our course because people rarely go for jobs after B.Sc in Economics. However, an internship is compulsory. Students are allowed to take more than one internship if it is required. There is a placement cell which helps students who need contacts in the industry. Most of the internships are unpaid.
Placements: There are no placements for the B.Sc. Programme. There is a placement cell, but it is more for the master programme than ours. Those who are interested in placements approach the placement cell as they are in contact with various industry personnel. The internship is compulsory, and they can be both paid and unpaid. The highest stipend was Rs.12000.
Placements: Last year, the companies which visited the campus were not much satisfying. The average salary package offered to placed students was too low. Most of my seniors went for off-campus placements. I don't think everybody got placed, and even many were not satisfied with what they got.
Placements: Most of the students pursue higher education. My senior batch of 2015-18 got 2 students placed, which is 1.14% for the B.Sc. Programme. Since placement for B.Sc. Students are not so ideal so most of the students go for higher education in operations, finance, research, MBA, behavioural economics, etc. All the students get an internship because it is mandatory for our course to do at least two internships, one in an NGO and one in a corporate company. The highest stipend offered in my batch of ...
Placements: The placements are average, and the main reason being that is, this course needs a master degree for a decent job. Internships are compulsory, and college helps in finding it. The placement cell even helps with the interview preparations which are helpful for the jobs.
Placements: The college has placements, but considering the course not many students take up placements as they wish to continue with further studies. The college also has a placement cell that is handled by students just like any other college clubs. The placement cell helps the students in a number of different ways to prepare them for their career after graduating. The college invites placements from corporates, NGO and the banking and finance sector. Few of the companies that visited are; Deloitte, ZS A...
Placements: Not such any placement cell is there in the college, however, the college brand is enough to catch decent jobs. Many of my colleagues are taking a break for further studies and the rest got employed in somewhat decent organisations as freshers. They are however starting a placement cell from this year.
Good. Life is good here though hectic at times. The good part about college is that it provides a lot of exposure and great opportunities to move ahead. The course structure is good as it gives a great experience on field and other secondary data research. The city being an educational hub, adds to the academic environment and enriches our knowledge.
Symbiosis, as we all know, is a fusion of strong academic courses along with fun loving extra curriculums. It's amazing to be a part of this institution. The long span of lectures, the early morning guest faculty, the tedious and boring exams, are like the vicious circle of the college. Yet, the practical exposure I get has enriched my knowledge definitely.
Well those who are considering applying to SSE for the Bachelor's course, here's a detailed Pros and Cons of the College:- Pros: 1) The syllabus is a mix bag with varied number of subjects extending across 8 semesters. 2) For extra co-curricular activities opportunities are immense. You can participate in loads of competitions. College really promotes that and the director is very keen on that front. The annual fest is also a great learning experience. 3) Faculty: Few of the permanent facu...
