    Review of Synergy Institute.
Placements: Around 5% of students got placed in our batch. The highest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 0.72 LPA. Companies didn't directly recruit students but consultancies came to hire students. Fake companies recruited students for manpower and took money from 1st month salary.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was not available on campus. The food quality was not good. Students faced issues with electricity. Bathrooms and washrooms were not sufficient and not good. Drinking water was not good. Cleaning services were not available. The canteen was not in good condition.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were not available for many subjects. We had 3 teachers for the whole department. Project work and practical works were not available. The course syllabus was pending every semester. Faculty members didn't have sufficient knowledge of the subject.
Other: I do not recommend students to join this college.

B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering - Batch of 2013

The teaching quality and the infrastructure of the college was very poor.
Placements: Less than 5% of the students got placed in our batch. None of the top companies visited the campus for recruitment. All the placements which were done in 2013, were offline placements. Most of the students got jobs after B.Tech from their source or by searching for job openings in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, etc. During our course duration, there were no such rules for internships, but students from their interest have arranged summer training from PSUs like NALCO, OPTCL, etc. Most students prefer to do certification training from CTTC. There were no such facilities provided by the institute.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi signal on the campus was poor. Hostel Wi-Fi was not sufficient to handle by every student. There was a library on campus which dealt with books mentioned in the syllabus only. No other extra book related to other domain was available. The quality of the food served in the hostel was very bad. They were not maintaining hygiene in the mess.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members in our college taught such type of concept questions which were not asked in the semester exams. Mostly syllabus was not covered by faculty members. Some faculty members were holding masters in technology, but most of them joined the profession after their graduation. So the quality of teaching was poor. They were focusing only upon the syllabus, and there were no extra sessions for enhancing knowledge about technology and how technology is evolving day by day. They were only dealing with old obsolete concepts.
Other: Electrical and electronics was a new field at that time. Rather choosing electrical, I had chose EEE. The best thing about the course was the laboratory facility of electrical and electronics section. They should focus upon the new technology that was used by industries, rather teaching students about old obsolete technologies to improvise study quality. Very few events were organised on campus. The student development programme was pathetic.

Review about my college, Synergy Institute.
Placements: Our campus has very low placements compared to many other colleges, but this can be improved by the placements division. This improvement is necessary to attract more students to join the college. The companies that come to recruit include TCS and Technoz. The roles offered in our branch are software developer or tester. The highest package is 25 LPA, the lowest package is 2 LPA, and the median is 4 LPA. Around 80 percent of students get internships, and about 70 percent of them secure placements.
Infrastructure: The classrooms and labs are good, but they should be redesigned with minor repairs and changes for a better student experience. Our library is a little smaller but has a variety of books to read. When it comes to hostels, they are not up to the mark; many students don’t like staying in hostels, and the mess food provided is not great in taste and has fewer varieties. There is a medical kit in every hostel warden's room, and doctors visit our campus when needed. We also have good sports and games courts to play.
Faculty: Almost all the faculty here teach effectively and help students when needed in their academics. The course structure is designed in a way that allows students to clear their courses without much difficulty. This course makes us about 80 percent ready for the industry. Semester exams are not that hard; a student scoring a 5 CGPA can easily clear the semester. This pass percentage can be obtained if the student attends all labs and prepares a week before the exams.
Other: This course has good opportunities in the future, which will help me in earning, so I opted for it. The frequency of exams should be decreased in the course structure, and there should be fewer labs with necessary breaks. The best thing about the course is that it has good labs, which helps me learn better. Regarding fests, there are few events in our college, and no scholarships are offered on campus. We also participate in extracurricular activities. Our campus has average connectivity, which should be improved.

Overall good facilities and infrastructure. Just dissatisfied with the placements.
Placements: Almost 50% of the students were placed in B.Tech. The highest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Mercedez Benz, Amtron, and Wipro. Top role offered was junior trainee engineer. The highest salary offered in our course was Rs. 19,000 per month. The lowest salary offered in our course was Rs. 10,000 per month. Almost 20% of the students actually opted for the internships, and almost all got a chance in reputed companies like HAL, TATA, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided by the college were good, including Wi-Fi, elevator, library, and spacious classrooms with good seating capacity. Labs are good and equipped with all amenites. Hostel facilities are very good, including the attached mess, basketball court, volleyball court, football ground, table tennis, cricket ground, etc.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful and qualified. They always try their best to impart their knowledge to the students irrespective of their background. The course curriculum is quite appropriate and relevant. It is right for the student to adapt to the industry.

    Average college in entire Bhubaneswar.
Placements: The placements were below average. For all the batches. Placements were really bad. We had the least placement compared to any other engineering institution in Bhubaneswar. I would suggest all aspiring students to beware of fake companies that come to hire you. Good luck.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. We have 2 main blocks. "A" block and "B" block. Behind the "A" block we have the Mechanical workshop. We have the library in the "B"block. The principal office, accounts section etc. All are situated in the"A" block. Behind the "A"block we have the boys hostel.
Faculty: The faculty is good. But keeps changing. So to predict about the teachers is difficult. There are teachers who are really knowledgeable. And you'll enjoy being under their guidance. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is really helpful.
Other: We had various events like annual night, several seminars. Etc.

Good college infrastructure and placements in last year.
Placements: Good companies come to our college. In the last year, 78% of the students got placed. In this year, nearly 10-11 campus placements were done. As the companies are not giving enough package, so till today, 48% of the students are placed. But, the companies give accommodation.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. There are sufficient classes and labs as required. The faculty members are also good and friendly. The entire campus is enabled with Wi-Fi. There is also a playground for students for sports and games.
Faculty: This college undergoes the Biju Pattnaik University of Technology. And, the syllabus goes through 8 semesters. As per college's student capacity, there are enough faculty members for each branch and subjects. As per course per year, there are 2 semesters, 4 internals exams, 2 projects, and 1 seminar.
