TAPMI maintains an overal CAT percentile of 85 for its MBA course from the past three years (2020, 2021 and 2022) for the General All India category student. Considering the past three years cutoff percentile, there is high chances that a student can get a call from TAPMI with 80 percentile in CAT. However, final admission will be based on CAT/ XAT cutoff score, followed by candidates' performance in the Group Discussion and Personal Interview round. Yes, TAPMI accepts XAT score for admission to MBA programme. Xavier Aptitude Test or XAT is a national-level management entrance examination conducted once in a year in online mode. Besides, candidates who have qualified CAT, MAT, NMAT or GMAT can also get admission to MBA. Candidates selected based on the entrance exam score are further called for group discussion and personal interview round. 

TAPMI Manipal offers admission to most of the courses based on entrance exam. The institute shortlists aspirants for MBA programme based on entrance exam scores. Aspirants can pass CAT, XAT, GMAT or NMAT followed by a group discussion and personal interview round. For Online MBA, the merit of the candidates will be considered for admission. Aspirants wishing to apply for PhD must qualify UGC-NET, CSIR NET, MAHE Eligibility Test, etc. for admission.

TAPMI Manipal offers a two-year General MBA programme along with MBA in Banking and Financial Services (BKFS), Human Resource Management (HRM),  Marketing, etc.. Besides, the institute also offers Online MBA and PhD programmes. Candidates who have completed graduation can apply for MBA programme. The selection for MBA is based on Management entrance exam scores and GDPI round.
