This college doesn't try to put in the students with knowledge. Whereas just try to pour in the bookish thing in the students mind and just tell the ways and points to be remembered to get through the semester exams and mid semesters. Even teachers teach from the guides. Few teachers aren't worthy to be a faculty in fact as they lack everything.

One is always forced to concentrate on the university syllabus. Something creative what you would like to do won't be permissible or would be of no value to the authority. No exposure to the ongoing studies and researches but one is forced to study all the old techniques and methodologies which is of no use and won't be used anywhere in future. Teaching here is not about passing or sharing knowledge but is all about how to get through the semester exams.

I have mixed reviews for this college. Placements are only average. College should focus on the core companies for placements. The fee structure at my time of joining was average. The preplacement trainings should be offered from 2nd year onwards. The faculty is not up to the mark. The college crowd is great. Its location is best. Core department is very bad. There is also no scope for branch like mechanical and civil etc. For IT department I recommend this college.

With a sprawling campus of ten acres of land situated in the heart of the city Trident commands respect and admiration as one of the leading technical institutions of eastern India. It's is one of the top ranked private colleges listed under BPUT. Good infrastructure and a good array of faculties adds to its growth curve. Being from a Computer Science background I would say it has top-notch laboratories where students can get enough hands on experience as an application to the often judged munda...

Good infrastructure and facilities but dissatisfied in placements and studies.

Placements: College claims 100% placement, but in reality, it would be like 80%. The lowest package would be around 3 LPA, the average package is about 3.5 to 4 LPA, and the highest on-campus package would be between 8 to 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, etc., as claimed by the college. The college itself doesn't provide any internships; they suggest we clear NPTEL exams. You have to do internships by yourself. The roles available are like software engineer and cyber security engineer.
