Placements: 50% of students are placed in my course, and others go for higher studies inside or outside India, or they start their own interests. The highest package is around 4 to 8 lacs and the lowest package is 24 lacs. The average is around four lacs, and the top recruiting companies are Twello and Ashok Leyland. Everybody does an internship through the department, and the top roles offered in my course are data analyst and quality control.
Placements: In mechanical engineering, 85% of students secured placement from 3 LPA, averaging at 5 LPA. About 90% of students have roles such as design engineer, manufacturing specials and RND engineer. Top recruiting companies are Byjus and Infosys.
Placements: Having observed the placement scenario at our college, it's evident that there's a notable discrepancy in opportunities among different departments. The placements for Computer Science and Information Technology (IT) students are commendable, with a plethora of opportunities from top-tier companies. However, the situation is less favorable for mechanical and civil engineering students. For mechanical and civil engineering students, the available placements are comparatively limited, primarily du...

Placements: The training and placement cell provides training for interviews and test preparations. Mechanical students almost always have to find an off-campus internship or placement. People do get placed in good companies. Those who are not in T&P sessions cannot attend the placement.
Placements: Being a second-year engineering student currently, I'm not fully aware of the placements and how much students are satisfied with the placement grounds that take place at Thakur College of Engineering and Technology. However, there is a Training and Placement Cell (T&P Cell) in the college, which is responsible for conducting the training activities for students so that they secure a good placement at the company they desire.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in my course is around 65% and most of them really got core companies to hire at a minimum salary of 3.5 lacs. This time, IT companies did come, but still, core jobs are in higher numbers than those of IT industries.

Placements: The placement season for the 2024 batch was not good as compared to previous batches due to a market slowdown. To compensate for this situation, the college came up with sales jobs for engineering students with a minimum package of 3 LPA, which in my opinion is not good for an engineering student. Hopefully, the next batch will get good placement drives with a better package.
