An awesome college for students looking for placements just after graduation.
Placements: The placements were good enough for everyone and were provided by good companies. The salary offered was according to the skills and marks of the candidate. As per my knowledge, the average salary offered in the previous year was about Rs. 25,000 per month, the highest was about Rs. 40,000 per month and the lowest was Rs. 18,000 per month. About 80% of the students got scholarships from the college. The college has a good placement cell and is pretty effective. It works well and helps you in improving your skills.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided in our college are pretty good, but the peons are very bad. They have a very bad attitude towards students. Free Wi-Fi facility is available in the library which can be used anytime by the students. Good food is available in the canteen, and you can also go out to eat food in the break time.
Faculty: The teaching staff are highly qualified, knowledgeable and pretty much helpful. They possess a great experience. Their method of teaching is highly tested and gives guaranteed results. Timely, industrial visits are organised for students to get the view and information of the business atmosphere.
Other: Taragan is a great festival organised by Thakur College. B.Com in financial markets has its own event known as Finstreet.
