Thakur Polytechnic is the best polytechnic college.

Placements: As the students on the campus are pursuing diploma, most of them aim for higher studies or a degree. Though the placements are very less on the campus, companies do visit the campus, but as said, most of the students do not apply for placements. The college's name is good, and it is one of the prime polytechnic colleges in all of Mumbai. Many big companies have approached the college for placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is good. All the classrooms, computer labs, and seminar halls are air-conditioned. The college has two canteens, one is owned by Cafe Coffee Day, and the college owns another. The college also has medical facilities. The college does not have much exposure in the sports department.

Faculty: The faculty members of this college are good, supportive, and they solve any problem if asked. The course curriculum followed by the college is provided by MSBTE, which is a standard curriculum followed by all the polytechnic colleges in Maharashtra.

Other: There are many cultural, technical events, and committees on the campus for students.

Good college for studying and getting qualified.

Placements: Placement in our college is available in the form of internships and further you can get admission for further studies, in short there is internship and there are well developed trainers which train us as professionals and after that they provide us placement in the known companies.

Infrastructure: Well developed mechanical lab which helps student to perform best practical, very nice computer labs with the latest software 24/7 internet connection with full staff support. Simple electronic lab with too much of electrical instruments and always electricity with large windows. Best of civil lab for civil students all labs at different levels.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, well qualified and they are just full of knowledge means they have well knowledge of what they are teaching, Teaching method both video and oral lectures are performed. There is enough staff for students. At time we are taken to industries and well known industries. Course curriculum helps us to improve us in our daily life.

Other: Every year there is fest named goonj, which is dance and entertainment fest. So much of extra activities are available.
