The good college to become great.

Placements: It's been two years since I joined this college and the college lives up to its reputation when it comes to the placements. For the past two years, the placements have been good. Our college guarantees 100% placement, and it certainly delivers on that front. Last year, a guy from CS bagged the highest placement for 24 LPA and this year its a girl from IS with 25 LPA. This is about the outstanding students. But even average students have good opportunities as many mass companies, and a fair share...

Satisfactory college which provides overall exposure for students but a bit of lesser college life.

Placements: The placements are good for computer science and information science students with an average package of about 6-7 LPA, but the mechanical branch placements are the best as compared to other mechanical engineering branches from other colleges. The companies such as Cisco, SAP laps, Motto was one of the top recruiters on the campus.

I am proud of my college and satisfied with it. I am currently working in Nokia.

Placements: Placement wise, NIE is quite good where almost 70% of the students get placed. Approximately, the ratio of the placements will be like 50% from the mechanical branch, 60% from the electrical, 80% from the electronic, and 70% from the information science. Our seniors had a pretty good placement than us, differs around 20-30% more. Companies like Cisco, Qualcomm, Deloitte, SAP, Infinera, TCS, Accenture, L&T, etc. The minimum package offered was around 3 LPA, and the maximum package was 28 LPA whic...

Satisfied with the college except for the college fest and the canteen

Placements: The placement for our senior batch was pretty good. Every year, almost 100% of the students for CSE get placed. The highest salary offered was 20 lakhs and the lowest offered was 3.7 lakhs for the CSE department. The average salary offered was 7 lakhs for the CSE department. Wallmart, Amazon, Cisco, De Shaw, Thoughtworks, Accenture, Intuit, SAP, Oracle and many other companies totalling 50+ companies had visited the campus for CSE placements. The students have to search internships on their own...

Overall, a decent college with decent placements and good faculty

Placements: The placements for computer science batch is almost amazing. 100% placement has been observed in the last two-three years. various companies like Wipro, Intuit, Infosys, TCS, etc. visit our campus for interviews. I have been told that 24 lakhs is the highest this year. The lowest is around 3.5 lakhs. Overall, a good package can be expected if you are good in the field.

Complete review of NIE, Mysore.

Placements: The placement records are decent and growing every year. In the year of 2016, it stood at 84%, considering the fact quite a few of students chose higher studies and were quite successful there too. Overall, it's pretty motivating placement wise when you see companies such as Microsoft, Samsung and many more visiting the college.

Good college with excellent placements.

Placements: Cisco, HPE, etc are some of the major companies that visit every year. The placements are good throughout all the branches if you work a little hard. CS and IS branches have around 80-90% placements every year. Apart from that, Benz, Bosch, etc are companies picking up students from the mechanical department. All in all, the average salary offered is around 6-7 lacs per annum. For internships, I would personally prefer not to rely on the college and apply yourself as soon as you feel that you ar...

Awesome placements, good location (trip wise), excellent faculties, average infrastructure.

Placements: About 85% eligible students got placed. The highest package is given by Microsoft (16 lakhs). Lowest is about 2.5 lakhs. Average package is 5 lakhs. Companies like TCS come with 2 kinds of packages- 4.5 lakhs and 6 lakhs. About 55 companies came this time. The students have to find internships themselves. The college faculty isn't going to help there.

The NIE, Mysore is good college to complete your graduation. It is an autonomous college under VTU, because of which it provides much freedom to its students. When I took admission it had 55th rank in India which changed my mind to go for this college. My branch was CS&E, best branch in the college. There are good number of faculty members in the college but they are inexperienced .There are 5-10 experienced faculty members in each branch. College was estd. in 1946 so it doesn’t have a big and m...

Collage has a good infrastructure but not the best. Mine was the first batch of autonomous course. I feel that collage didn’t make best use of autonomy. But now I have heard there are lot improvements in these lines. Course is not creative and is challenging.

One of the top colleges in India. This college has a history of producing world class candidates like Mr. Narayan Murthy. The faculty is very good and very knowledgeable. Studying in this college would be the best time of your life. This college has a brand name. A decent campus.

Good college and faculty, focus on BE placements. No hopes on master’s placements. Good hostels for both men and women. Very well maintained campus and library of good collection of books. Canteen and other facilities are not good. The placement cell has their focus only on the BE graduates. Mostly on the CS and is students.

The placements here are very good. The average package was around rupees 5 lacs per annum. The highest was around 16 lacs per annum. The college lacks infrastructure. It has poor hostel facilities and a highly qualified teaching staff. The environment is totally orthodox. The placement officer is very good, and more than 100 companies are expected to come for recruitments this year. It is an autonomous college, so scoring marks here is very easy.

The college is quite good.

Placements: Placements are the key factor here. The placements are decent. The highest package offered is around 10 LPA in CSE and ISE, and it is low for other branches. The placement department is more focused on providing internships which are later converted into PPOs.

Not completely satisfied with the hostel food but other than that everything else is okay.

Placements: Almost all students from CSE got placed. Cisco, Infosys, Delloite are some of the companies that come for recruiting students. Getting an internship also won't be that difficult if you would be an active part of any of the clubs in the college like IEEE or Issa.

Nice placement records and good college.

Placements: Most of the students got placed well. The highest salary package offered is nearly 35 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our college are HCL, Intuit, L&T, Tech Mahindra, etc. But our college is not that good. If you want to gain knowledge, faculty members are not that good to provide. Internships are offered only to the CS department.

The college is the best place to achieve something.

Placements: There are good placements in previous years and hoping the same for the upcoming year. Mechanical has good placements and IS, and CS has over 99% of the placement. The highest package offered is 26 LPA. The only college in Karnataka that helps students for a summer internship in a reputed company which could be helpful for placements.

The college is a path of success for leading a good futuristic life.

Placements: There are good placements, almost 99% of the students get placed. Many companies visiting the college are mass recruiters. Even in mechanical and civil branches, many students get recruited and in CS/IS the placements are over 95%. The salary packages offered are excellent at this college.
